I am looking at options to make this years raffle much easier/less intensive to count the tickets, so hopefully this year can run more smoothly and the prizes can be given out much quicker.
Remember, the Prediction Pool Party will be happening from June 1st to August 31st this year, and the perks will only apply to breedings that are already in the queue, so get those coins in!
The final day to submit breedings to receive Prediction Pool Party perks this year will be May 19, 2020 at 11:59 pm AST.

The time is soon upon us - Mayday is near! As a reminder, the item needed to nab an Exotic pet is April Showers Exotic Egg, and for those of you who are new to the sales, "Special Credit" is credit that you can only accumulate during the sale by making purchases!
Below is what will happen on Day 1, with the presale beginning at 11:00 PM AST - this is the time on the site clock at the top of every page, not your personal timezone. Any purchases made before this time will not count towards special credit and will not receive their listed bonuses. If you intend to use Amazon Pay, please note that there can be up to a 24-hour delay in your order being processed. Please contact Kaiyo (#489) if you are using Amazon so that we can make arrangements to ensure that you get your egg.
Additionally, to mitigate any lag that may occur at rollover, your usual rollover notifications will be delayed approximately 20 minutes.

As part of our work to bring site features up to date, some outdated museum collections were retired. These collection were either due to be retired years ago, unable to be completed due to the items not being in circulation, or the prize being retired from use.
This is your warning to not buy anything from the GP or BP shop unless you do not care about the sales! We are going to be stocking the GP and BP shop shortly, so you will be able to see what items are available but remember the sale does not actually begin until 11:00 pm AST tonight.
If anything is bought from any of the shops prior to 11:00pm AST, you will not receive any benefits from the sales, and you will not be eligible for a refund. So please, refresh your screen to ensure the clock at the top of the screen says it is after 11:00 pm AST.
If you notice that the different breeding coins are missing from the shops after our Mayday sale, don't be alarmed! Staff has come to decision to remove these from the store to allow our hardworking artists to work through the queues. They will be put back up for sale once the queues have a smaller wait time.

Although many of you may have already been pressing your faces against the glass, we're now announcing the Exotic Pot as being open for viewing! There may be a set or two added before the sale, but we will make sure to make note of it in the pre-sale news post if there are!

Finally, we have one last promotion to applaud -- Lacia #25044 has been helping us out so often, has been routinely putting out new pets and accepting them, hosting our event threads, that we felt it was time she was put up among the Admin ranks! Huge congratulations to her and we hope that we'll be working with her -- and the others! -- for a long time yet!

That's right, it's time for a Breeding Artists Wanted post!
Who are our lucky coins this time? Well...
Scribble and Smudged Scribble are first up to bat! With a pay starting at 25 GP per breeding and adding 5 GP per extra offspring after the first per breeding, it's pretty dang good, if I do say so myself. Of course, you can also opt in for the equivalent of Artist Credit if you'd prefer!

Next on the list is our very own Rusted team! They're all masters of redrawing markings to fit new bases for 10 GP per breeding, so if you feel like that's your thing, then feel free to check out this thread and give Kozmotis #48993 a shout!
And we're not done with Kozmotis' teams just yet! The Painted teams are in need of some new faces, particularly Painted Lesser. Follow prompts and mix edits -- or not, for Painted Metal -- and get yourself either 9 GP per PMBC or 11 GP per PLBC!

If anyone is still planning to turn in any sets for the Mayday sale, this is your last reminder that the due date to have all sets turned in to Mayday Marie (#11) is by the end of today, May 7th!

A Few Updates!

The Art Gallery has been archived and moved out of the Games page and into the Archives tab.
You can still see all the past entries there - there's 215 pages of brilliant artwork to browse!
This does not mean that we won't have gallery-like contests in the future, but it does mean that we won't be posting them to this page.
It's taken a lot of incubating, but at long last the Insi Egg Plushie
(won from completing a museum collection)
is ready to hatch and yield its title!
You can use the egg from your inventory and adorn yourself with the forum title "All Sewn Up"!

Today I accepted Daevo designs 74, 75, 76 and 77!
(Well, roughly, we have a few more designs but sadly they were below 15% or above 50%!)
That means it's NEW PET TIME and it is my pleasure to introduce to you the Yisyii!
Same rules apply as last time:
75 designs between 15% and 50% submitted to the Edit Repository for this genus will unlock a new lineart for the Portal.
Which we actually have sitting and waiting. Perched a little, perhaps...

Monthly HA Contest

The winning HA sets have been placed into their respective shops, and will be in stock until 11:59pm AST on June 7th!
At the time of the poll closing, there were two entries tied for third place - and so both have been placed into the Premium Outlet shop.
If this has a serious affect on the sales then it may be in the future that staff will choose between the two tied entries.
The HA Contest has been with us for a long time, and as the years have gone on it's gained fewer and fewer entrants. Having noticed this downward trend for a while we've tried to think of ways to improve the feature, but ultimately not come up with anything that we feel would be concrete.
So that's where you come in!
I've made a thread in the Suggestions forum for you to come and lend us a hand. We want to hear all your ideas on how to make this contest fairer, more fun, and more worthwhile to people.
Please remain respectful, but feel free to throw out even your wackiest ideas.
The sad part of the above thread is that at the close of the current round, we will be disabling the HA contest until we've had time to analyse the data, look at your ideas, and see what we can do to improve the game.
It's not forever, but it may be for some time.
I know this will be upsetting to those of you that enjoy the contest, but I promise to bring you something bigger and better when it does come back.

Some small announcements!

This is also your reminder to download any exotic PSDs for pets you have purchased from the Black Friday sale. Once we begin prepping for the Mayday Sale, you will no longer have these PSDs available to you. Please double check that you have downloaded all of your PSDs from the archives page by May 6th!
It has come to our attention that for the past 3 months, the monthly high score lists have been rewarding SP incorrectly. Yasu is currently working on creating a script to fix this - those that were rewarded more SP than was earned by making their way to the high score list will have the extra SP removed from their account. If you were supposed to have been awarded SP and either did not receive SP or received the wrong amount, that SP will be awarded to your account.
Have you voted in the HA Coloration Poll yet? Well, if you haven't, you should! It ends tomorrow, Sunday, May 3rd, at approximately noon AST!
