April is for Easter!

The Easter Egg Field is now open!
If this is your first time venturing to the fields, listen up!
How it works:
You can take an egg once every 10 minutes only if you have deposited an egg within the last 10 minutes.
If you want to take from the field, you must contribute to it. :3
When you deposit an egg, you can choose any r30+ item from your inventory or a pet and wrap it up in one of fifteen lovely eggs. If you'd like to stuff some BP or GP in an egg, you are able to do that as well. You can even include an optional note if you like! (Images work, too.)
Last year a lot of very kind people deposited custom designs into random Easter eggs, so feel free to get creative!
After you leave an egg for another user to find, you can go to the field and pick one out for yourself and see what you get!
(Admins will also be putting some extra special prizes in random easter eggs!)
The Easter Egg Fields will be open through the end of April. Enjoy!
Find the Egg!
Throughout the rest of the month, we'll be playing a little egg hunting game through the news.
Once a day (at a different hour each time), I'll post the image of at least one egg that I've hidden somewhere around the site.
It can be on any page, including the tutorials, official stickies, old news posts, etc.
The first person to comment on the news post saying where they found the egg will win a little prize!
(The one pictured above is just an example, I haven't hidden any yet.)
Our favorite Easter Bunny Garu is eager to dye eggs with you!
We'll soon be opening up the Easter Painter, where you'll be able to put those dyes to use!
Once we get some eggs colored, that Garu might just have another surprise for everyone. o:
If you see an egg you colored appear in the fields, a news post egg hunt or in one of our upcoming surprises, contact Visark (#185) for your payment.

Wardrobe Drawers
New Feature
You might have noticed a new option in your Wardrobe if you decided to change clothes this evening.
As suggested, the Wardrobe feature now has Drawers, which will let you organize all your wearable items. The Glittering Gala greeted us with an explosion of clothing, so I hope you're happy to see this!
To group your items, simply go to your Wardrobe and click on Manage Drawers. From there, you can create new drawers/groups and then drag and drop items into them for completely personalized organization.
You can edit the name of a drawer at any time. If you delete a group, items contained within it will automatically go to your unorganized section.
Once you have your clothing in groups, you can then use the Equip Avatar page like normal, but will now have drawers to choose from.
Currently, Premium users can have up to 12 drawers.
Non-premium users can have 6.
We will be adding an item that lets you add more drawers, similar to the Layer Key.
Please let us know how you like this option! I'll be watching the Suggestion forum for ideas on how to expand this feature or tweak it in the future, but for now I hope it'll be a big help!

The art gallery has been judged!
In light of our holiday weekend, the Art Gallery celebrated Easter!
We had a lot of really adorable entries. Here are our winners:

The current theme is a Scrapbook Pet Page.
This is to use traditional media, not digital, and basically be a scrapbook page devoted to a pet on Aywas.
It can be a custom, site pet, shopkeeper, etc.
Take a photo or scan your completed page and don't forget to write your ID on it (don't add it digitally).
I look forward to seeing what you guys come up with for this!

Reminders!

Holidays always seem to come and go so quickly, but on Aywas we're having some lengthy Easter festivities.
Egg Coloring Submissions close tomorrow night (the 10th) at 11:59 PM, so make sure you finish letting yours dry before then!
We're wrapping up things with The Glittering Gala!
Don't forget that the Seasonal Shop closes tonight after 11:59 PM.
There are roughly 230 Bird of Paradise SCCs left to be sorted through, so we appreciate your patience with that.
Much more efficient than manually handing pets out though, right? :)
If you didn't nab a Velvet Stardust or weren't able to use it in time, you may still create the BoP with a Silver Potion.
All Gala pet auction winners have been contacted, so if you won, check your inbox for instructions from me.
Congratulations! Those were fun to watch.
The contests will be judged by Mori. We'll have the results for those as soon as possible!
Make sure that if you submitted pets or clothing for the event that you contact Visark (#185) for your prize if you haven't already.

Shop Icons!

Two innocent-looking paws, or the difference between life and death?
If you have ever made the mistake of mispricing something in your shop, you might think they're one in the same!
When stocking your shop, we now have handy buttons instead of the drop-down.
The BP and GP text has also been replaced with the Blue Paw and Gold Paw icons when stocking and when viewing someone's shop.
This was a long-standing suggestion and I'm very pleased that we were finally able to implement it. Enjoy!

Explore Hatchlings!

The time has come once again for a new batch of lovely explore pets~ 8D
Looks like these cute little Reves couldn't wait their turn and slipped in with this week's batch too.
If you designed one of the above, please contact us for your copy of the pet.
Next week's bonus explore pets are the Maki, Oske and Chromo!
If you color one of the above species and have it accepted, you'll receive 10 GP per coloration accepted instead of the normal 3GP!
