Quick update regarding the Premium Fixes thread. If your premium time went berserk after the downtime and you posted here, your request has been addressed!
Many people lost out on Premium Points, myself included, and unfortunately this is not something we can refund. :c I do apologize.
However, I have added a brand new pet to the Premium Outlet for a discounted price! -- a Tentbat Chiro.
And it looks quite happy to see you. :3

I've seen a couple questions inquiring about the status of the double BP event, so I wanted to clarify that this is still on the agenda, we just want to get more accounts restored and accepted and stabilize other things before releasing this.

In late January, user #45350 quietly joined the ranks of newest Aywas members.
This user was one of many who, unfortunately, temporarily lost his account and had to wait patiently for it to be restored.
Yasu has been enduring the time-consuming task of recreating lost accounts one by one, and #45350 just got his restored and is back in his cozy, albeit sparse, little space on Aywas.
So, what's so remarkable about this user?
His name is LostNova, and he is our brand new programmer!
Yasu remains our head programmer, which means we're going to have 2 dedicated coders. LostNova's focus will be assisting Yasu (who will remain focused on fixes and complicated projects) and working on simple new features.
LostNova is very excited to work with us, so make sure he feels nice and welcome! I am writing up his first assignment now, which will be a new feature that has been requested for quite some time, but that's the only hint I'm giving away. *wink*
If you couldn't tell, this means really good things are on the horizon for our beloved site. :3

Pet Shop Update!
Pets
As some of you may have noticed, the Little Pet Shop of Horrors has received a new stock of pets! They're eager and awaiting new loving owners!
In case you weren't aware, the Pet Shop is on a stock rotation schedule with the stock changing every 3 months. Due to the downtime, we got a bit off schedule so we're a month late in changing the stock. We don't want to get off schedule though, so we'll only be putting this new stock in for about 2 months. Because of that, the new stock of pets is discounted by 33%. The previous stock of pets is still in the pet shop to allow the accounts that were unable to play some time to get them. Both stocks will be in the shop until June, when both stocks will be permanently retired and a new stock will replace them. So get them while you can!
If you want to have the chance of getting a design of yours into the pet shop, go ahead and submit them to the Pet Coloration Submissions forum. Most of the submitted designs will be put into Adventure, but some random designs will be kept to go into the pet shop!
If your design is now in the pet shop please contact Kyu (#1010) for your free copy. That's right, if your design is accepted and put in the shop you get a free copy. That could save you a good amount of BP!

Lovegram Box

The Lovegram Box has been activated!
Opening the box will reveal four items:
The Broken Heart Dagger is a weapon with a 10% bonus in toughness, power, and speed, to keep you protected through all of love's ups and downs.
When you can use a good cuddle, the Heart Pillow fauna is always nearby!
And when you want to wear your heart on your sleeve, activate the Declaration of Love.
This will unlock an achievement/forum title that says I love you. <3 in red!
Finally, the Heart Glowstick will turn your active pet into a Cordial Finn:

The Seasonal Shop is now officially open!
Shop to your heart's content until March 16, 2013 at 11:59 p.m.! Love Letters will remain findable and sendable through this time as well, so make sure you're giving the Mailman Melo a workout!
Now that we've got the mood music set and the lights dim, lets go on a little stroll through the love-themed wares! Don't mind the petals strewn about on the ground (Dew thought he was being cute, but if someone slips he's in big trouble).
Let's start off with a smorgasbord of new edible items!
I am pleased to announce that this spread of culinary creations is not limited, as all five items above are permanent additions to the Aywas pantry. You'll find them stocking in shops around Ay and popping up in cooking like normal. (How precious are those two peas in a pod?!)
If you have a taste for rarer delicacies, you might be interested in the exclusive holiday foods we've cooked up for you this year!
These should quench your thirst for love-soaked foods!
If not, we have something a little different that might wet your whistle.
The Dessert Wardrobe contains 10 food-themed wearable clothing items for your HA!

If your valiant Fido is in need of a makeover, consider one of our new transforming potions!
In this lineup we have the Two Cherries Elixir (containing 5 uncommon pets), a bright red True Love Potion (containing 3 hybrids), and a classic Love Brew (containing 5 exclusive pets).
Using any of these potions on your active pet will turn it into a random coloration from the pool inside. As a teaser, here's one pet from each potion:

The new Puppy Love fauna is a great gift for pets and friends alike!
We are offering two other collectables to put on your lair shelf (since you'll probably end up with quite the mess on your hands if you leave them within reach of your Melos or Lepus).
The Love Liger Vion Plush and Crazy in Love Candles do not have a function beyond existing for your enjoyment and collections. :3
In honor of the love fest holiday, we are bringing back two very popular items that do have pretty cool uses, though!
The Love Story add-on has returned by pet demand! Apparently this is a beloved bedtime story.
As a refresher, this is a breeding add-on compatible with MBC, LBC, BC, and HBC breedings and tells your artist to cute-ify the offspring with Valentine's Day colors.
Love Potion #9 has returned once more with our favorite, old alt loves, but its formula has been spruced up to bring us two brand new alt line sets!
