In honor of our huge 50k member milestone, we are opening up a very special contest--Design the next Ay star!
Think YOU know what kind of genus Ay is missing? Then show us!
We'll be looking for concept art for the next Ay common pet for two weeks. After the submission thread closes, staff will create a shortlist of finalists and will put them up for a vote so that you guys can ultimately decide which pet will become our newest crystal inhabitant! Our site artist, Kuitsuku, will create the final lineart.
The Prize?
The concept artist of the winning design will receive a full set of crystals--Metal, Blue, and Gold!

Absolutely! Kuitsuku will take the concept and turn it into a final lineart, so you don't have to submit a perfect pet or anything. :3 - Eri

i really hope that, since it's about the concept of the creature, that in the final judging by the community the one with the best art isn't automatically picked uvu

Seconding zacharie and/or rabbit. xD Barring SCCs for obvious reasons, shouldn't a "full set" also include Bronze? XP (Not that there's anything wrong with just three prizes because that's still super awesome; more just amused at wording. :P)
Also- OMG I'M SO EXCITED. 8DDD This contest is going to be great!

er...CAN it be a concept - that a "real" artist can clean up and make respectable? otherwise I haven't got a prayer, lol.
