Tiny Silver Potions
Items
One item the userbase has been requesting is a Silver Potion for unedited silver pets. The Tiny Silver Potion is now stocking in the GP Shop for that function.
The official ruling for this item is that the pet submitted with it must match either of the founders' linearts. As founders tend to have slight edits from each other, this seems the fairest way to handle it =3

Apocalypse Trophies

Trophies have been awarded for the Apocalypse Hound event!
Everyone who participated received some kind of a trophy, and you can find these on your personal trophies page (hint: it's in the link box on your profile).
The final story post and grand opening of the soul shop will appear tomorrow night--along with some extra surprises!
We're borrowing Famine's shop for the prizes for this event, but this is your warning to NOT purchase anything from the shop until it is declared as being officially open. We will NOT issue any refunds for broken/non-working items, things that change function or price, etc.
(Famine's Gothic Lolita stock will return after prizes are cleared out.)

Little updates!

Evening!
I would just like to take a moment to spotlight some of the work Loscil did over the weekend, which you may or may not have already noticed. :3
When you click on an item in the Item Database, you will now see an option to "Search for this item on the marketplace." All you need to do is click on this link and you will be taken to the shop search results for that item! Pretty handy, eh?
Now when you view the "My Posts" page, clicking on the thread title will *gasp* take you to the actual post!
There is now a sort by most/least quantity for inventories. You'll see these options as Quantity Descending and Quantity Ascending. I was very dismayed to see how many Clown Cookies we have accumulated. ;~;
I touched on this in the big June news post, but the Wardrobe now has a scrolling pane!
All of these were implemented directly from our To-Do List! :3

The art gallery has been judged!
The theme was Sidewalk Chalk Art and I was incredibly impressed by every single submission we received. I'm usually pretty proud of my chalk doodles and all of these just put mine to shame. XD Great colors, awesome use of space, and tons of creativity!

We only get to see snippets of the current stores, and for some we only see the Shopkeeper that runs it, so this is your chance to show us what's really going on in the Explore Shop or what crazy edible concoctions Zave is hiding in the back room. All interpretations and art mediums are welcome. :3

Would you guys care to have the alt Imay melo replace the "new melo" as the official/explore lines?

Steampunk Festival!

The Steampunk Festival has arrived!
Powered by Yuki & CO. (#40098) and a clanking Slashbot.
In a celebration to help usher in summer, all things Steampunk have overtaken the Bridge!
Your goal is to collect as many Gears as you can!
Gears are account-bound points that are only found at the Bridge; you will run into random piles of between 1 and 10.
There are also a few collectables for you to try and snag!
These 6 collectables are nice trinkets to keep as souvenirs, but you can also turn in one of each to create...
A Mini Steam Beast fauna at the Museum!
There are also 16 new Steampunk-themed pets for you to capture at the Bridge!
Want a sneak peek at what will be available in the shop?
You and your pets will be able to dine on Steampunk-inspired delicacies!
And parade around in Victorian-era, airship clothing!
If you are able to collect enough Gears for some Steam Beast Blueprints, you will be able to create a Steam Beast SCC with up to 30% edits! Steam Beast Blueprints will have limited-time power, but after their power fades, you will be able to create one of these SCCs via Silver Potion with Yuki's permission.
Click on the SCC image above to be taken to the species thread where you can read about their history, chat about ones you want to make, etc!

You can keep track of how many Gears you have by checking out the Event Shop. This shop will be opening some time on Tuesday June 4th and will remain open for a week. The Gears will be available through June 8th at 11:59 p.m., so there's a bit of overlap to hopefully make planning your Adventure time a little easier!
Make sure to swing by the Advent Calendar tomorrow (June 2) to pick up your complimentary Steampunk Theme item, which will unlock a site theme using the image at the start of this news post. :3

Let's dive into the month of June with a summery batch of GP Shop pets!

Make sure to send the PSDs for these pets in to [email protected] right away! Or I will melt your crayons on the sidewalk.
The Essence of June 2013 is based on the twining vine of the honeysuckle and will transform your active pet into one of the June 2013 monthlies!
The premium monthly item is Building Boards, which will give you an additional 8 Drawer slots!
With our influx of HA items, this should come in handy. :3 (And was taken from a suggestion in the Think Tank.)

Per our rotating schedule, the Nova Custom Items have been moved to the Premium Outlet where they will remain for the entire month of June. After the month ends, they will move back into the GP/BP Shops for July and August. Looks like you guys are enjoying these! :3
Event Land
Events abound! You guys have been doing awesome with all of the fun things that we have going on. Aywas has always been about having a variety of things to do so that you can play the game in a way that is unique and enjoyable to you, and events are no different. Here's a look at what we have coming up this month!
- The Apo event will be officially wrapping up shortly, you'll see a post on it this weekend!
- Rainbow Sky Seasonal Shop is open through June 6th at 11:59 p.m..
- The Steampunk Slashbot event should be kicking off late this evening if all goes well, and will last a week.
- Kaz and Shoe's birthday
- A mad science themed event, powered by a Slashbot, will be kicking off on June 22nd.
Coding Corner
Our programming crew has been doing an absolutely phenomenal job, and I'm sure you have noticed what kind of an impact having multiple people working behind the scenes has on the site. Great things have been happening, and there are even more on the horizon.
LostNova is mapping out Adventure and Battle tweaks based on your feedback in the Think Tank!
Loscil is implementing helpful tweaks and fixes at lightning speed and is now working on a few things from our To-Do List! Loscil makes a lot of updates about her progress via the Announcements area, so make sure you check that out.
Yasu has been doing a lot of work on the back end and has created quite a few new features for us, including something you may have heard about--admin panel permissions. What this means is that we will be able to give moderators (and others, if needed) special access to certain areas of the admin panel, enabling us to delegate out previously admin-only tasks.
I am personally squealing over this like a little girl because I spend an obscene amount of time in the admin panel, cold and alone, working on things that I can now have help on! <3
