Hello ladies and gents!
The last story game has been judged and a new and exciting storyline has been started. In addition, I'm making some permanent changes to the Story Game based on suggestions I got from the Think Tank. So here's the low-down:
- All story games will last a total of 10 weeks. That means I'll select ten winners per story line.
- Every week I'll include a little blurb of something you must include in your story piece. It could be something as simple as, "The main character should interact with something purple and spiky" to something to keep the story on pace such as "You must include the climax of the story in your entry" or "You must end the story with your entry".
- This week's prompt is: "The main character must interact with glass".
Any questions or further suggestions can be PMed to me or added in to the think tank forums. So go get writing! Hopefully we can get this feature up and running smoothly again.

10 weeks at 250-300 words is not a lot. That caps it at 2500 - 3000 words at the end of the story. Most short stories run in the range of 15k-20k. For professional short story writing contests, the word count tends to be at 4k words. I'm really sorry if this is still too difficult for you!

Pfft it's not the difficulty, it's the quality. With tandem writing, you get multiple styles of writing all clustered into one story (obviously the point), but sometimes the styles don't blend well into each other and it's like walking down an old sidewalk in a new town. Nonadjacent, cracks everywhere, with occasional weeds. ^^ It irks me.

Yeah! A new story! I like having prompts to follow. It will be fun..although, I didn't get to see how the other story ended. :(
