Lunar Meteor's Arrival
Events
It's a not a bird and not a plane - it's the Lunar Meteor! Not only has it made its yearly appearance, but there are also some new pets for you to collect! While most are found in the Adventure location, there will be a few more available for purchase with BP in the Seasonal Shop, which will open at the end of the week along with some other of our usual activities!
The Lunar Meteor will be shooting back off into space after 11:59 PM AST on August 31st, so be sure to collect everything that you would like to before then!

It's almost time for the Prediction Pool Party!
For those of you who weren't here, and those of you who were, I'll be listing out all the rules and bonuses, as well as setting up the threads that have everything compiled for easy reference!
ALL BREEDINGS FOR POOL PARTY PERKS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY AUGUST 14! Breedings submitted after August 14 WILL NOT be able to use any of these perks!
This event will run from August 14, 2021 until October 20, 2021! that gives you a little over 2 months to work and design as many predictions as you possibly can! The point of this is to try to help ease up some of the more backed up queues, so those specific queues will also receive the most bonuses.
- The Prediction Caps are being temporarily removed for all coins during this time!
- Any artist that makes a prediction can enter themselves into a raffle by posting in the Artist Raffle (coming soon!)
- All edit percentages are "loose" for this event only, so we will not get up in your business if you submit a 50% breeding and it is 57%. If you have a 50% breeding and we can't tell what species it is, then we might have a problem.
- Remember! Predictions can be done for USD however if they are not Platinum Breeding Coin or Sketch Breeding Coin predictions they must go through the Commission Panel!
Rules
All predictions must have the PSD attached in order to qualify for this event.Breeding rules still apply! If you bought a breeding slot, for only one baby, please ensure that you have the owners permission before making extra baby predictions! If someone violates this they may have their baby deleted without refund.Please included "Prediction Pool Party" in your breeding notes, or predictions and breedings will be processed as normal! All artists must have a forum for their sales thread in our new Prediction Pool Party Subforum. The only exception is if you are just doing your own predictions.Now! Onto the part you are all really excited for, the coin specific bonuses!

Painted Metal Breeding Coins and Painted Lesser Breeding Coins grant an extra baby. PMBC grants 3 babies for married pairs.This stacks with Painted Eggs, Twins, and any other compatible breeding addon, however you must provide all babies and you lose out on the site provided baby!
Every breeding has two babies! You can decide whether you would like either: two mutants; or one mutant and one metal. If you would like to see if your first baby rolls a hybrid you can pm Alana (#70812) for your roll.Up to 8 additional site pets that you own may be included in the notes for a total of 10 parents for mutants. If you decide to use more than 2 parents in your mutant, you may use medium sized body parts rather than a major body part from each parent. This means instead of using an entire leg, torso, head, etc. from each parent you may use paws, ears, eyes, etc.You may choose any SCC from the Psd Pool for a metal baby. The SCC cannot replace your mutant offspring.
Rusted Breeding Coins allow an extra babyNo matter what 2 pets you breed you can choose your Trash Hybrid! With an HGK attached you may also use one of the provided SCCs from ourPsd Pool
Sketch Breeding Coins with a Derpy Dragon/Gradient Gargoyle permit a 3rd additional baby with 10% edits. The "founders" must remain metal however!All breedings may link a 3rd parent in the notes -- 3rd and 4th if a Platinum DNA is attached
With Platinum Breeding coin you are guaranteed a secondary baby with no edits without attaching a life seed!
Transitional Fossil Egg and Alidae Egg allow 75% edits, or two babies with 75% edits if you use a Grand Edit Potion. All breedings will also also act as if they have a Painted Bottle attached.Posted by Kita🦊

Black Friday 2021: Submissions
Events
It's almost that time of year again - the Black Friday Sale! This year, the sale will run November 18th to November 23rd. While we'll have more information for you in regards to the actual sale when it's not so far away, here's some crucial information for those who would like to participate by creating sets:
You may create a set from any of the Exotic Genera (Teo, Faux, Snoodle, or Oët). A set is 5 custom pets with identical edits, all colored uniquely. If your set is accepted, you are also permitted 1 semi-unique that you can turn in at that time or at a later date. All applications must be PM'd to Mayday Marie (#11) with the following subject line: Black Friday 2021 - [email protected] - please replace the e-mail with your PayPal address. You must PM Mayday Marie (#11) with a sketch for for approval! Your sketches must be either 200px or 400px, and they should not be a screenshot of your canvas. If you send Marie a finished product without doing this first, we do not have to accept it. If you make more sets than the ones we approve you to do, we do not have to accept them. You must also send Mayday Marie (#11) examples of your shading and coloring, and if you have done any previous sets. If you send more than 10 examples, you may be asked to choose which ones you feel best represent your work. Users may only submit 3 sketches at a time. If more are submitted you will be asked to choose 3 of them to be assessed. Additional sketches will not be assessed until accepted sketches are submitted as complete sets. There will be no exceptions. All sets should be between 50% - 75%. If your set is spectacular, we will accept less edits. We are allowing very few silvers! We will not be accepting a dozen Teos that only have the tails left. All PSDs must be breedable! This means separated edits, shading, highlights, coloring, etc. We will not accept pets that are unbreedable, and we will be checking PSDs. All sets must be finished and the PSDs uploaded by November 11th!
The payment options are as follows:
$50 paid after Black Friday is over; you must sell at least one coloration of your set on Day 1 or Day 2 to be able to claim this option! 100 GP + 5 SP paid once the set is finished. No base pay, however you are granted a 75% unique of any of the exotic genera creatable this Black Friday. (You are welcome to sell this slot as well, however you must do part of the artwork for it.) 1 Black Friday Egg for the $50 Day. If you do two sets, then you can trade both payments in for 1 Black Friday Egg for the first day!The sell out bonus will work the same as it has been: should your set sell out on day 1 (November 19th) you get a bonus of $75, day 2 (November 20th) is $50 and day 3 (November 21st) is $25.

The past week has been busy for Fauna Frenzy. After going through the logs and listening to feedback from everyone, we've made quite a few changes to Fauna Frenzy.
Energy Changes
We heard you all loud and clear! While we do not plan on removing energy from the game, we understand that a lot of us want longer play sessions. So to make the energy more bearable, we've made the following changes:
• Base energy has been increased from three to five
• Energy restore time has been decreased from one point every 90 minutes to one point every 30 minutes
• When unlocking a new star in a level, all fauna that was used in that battle will have the energy used return to them
• Each player level up will fully restore all fauna energy in the player's roster
We are still trying to come up with a solution to adding a timer to the faunas to indicate when their next energy point will be available, so please bear with us a little longer.
Silver Paws
For every five level ups (player level, not fauna), you will earn one SP! Any players that has already hit this interval has had SP credited to their account.
In addition, when you unlock all the stars in a stage, you will also earn one SP as well. This will give everyone a reason to go back and play earlier realms later in the game
Six challenges added
Already made your way through the Bitter Barrens? Why not try you hand at the six challenge levels recently added to complete your Bitter Barrens adventure?

All changed bosses will be observed and balanced if needed. We are aware of a few additional bugs and improvement requests made for the game. We're hard at work trying to find solutions for them and will keep you updated on any other changes made.

Fauna Frenzy
Site Update
After a longer delay than we would have liked, we are happy to announce Fauna Frenzy is available for play again. With the help of the community, Fauna Frenzy has been overhauled fixing many issues while introducing a few new features.
I am missing fauna!
One of the change that was made was how fauna are unlocked in the Frenzy. if you added fauna to the Frenzy in the past but haven't leveled them up, those fauna will be returned to your inventory sometime this week.
How do I add fauna to the Frenzy?
In your Roster, you will notice a handful of darken fauna. These are fauna that are not unlocked for your account.
To unlock them, you must have the required number of that fauna in your inventory. When you do, you can unlock the fauna by clicking it and selecting the option to unlock. When unlocking the fauna, the required quantity will be removed from your inventory
Note: If you've added any fauna to the Frenzy via the inventory, those fauna will be return to your account sometime this week
My level progress was reset
We added a few new changes to the game that we want everyone to experience. Because of this, realm progression has been reset. In exchange, we nerf'd the enemies in the Bitter Barrens sightly to make progression smooth up until 1-20.
Levels I've beaten are much harder when attempting then again
If leveling up your fauna doesn't help, then revisit these levels after Fauna Fusion is released. You won't be able to two star most levels and you shouldn't be able to three stars any level at the fauna's current level block
We hope everyone enjoy the changes to Fauna Frenzy! If everything is stable with this iteration, we'll be releasing the another realm next month as well as allowing further leveling by September.

Also, on a different note, mental health can be a real pain, especially over the last year or so. If you are experiencing issues with your mental health, please don't try and tackle it alone. Seek help.
Now back to my dungeon. The staff is keeping me busy with overhauling things on the site. Hopefully, I'll have something to share with everyone by Fall.

Chromo & PPP

A new friend has washed ashore to be created using the Summer Custom Crystal custom makers! Please welcome the Chromo's seasonal look!
As usual, you can use Summer Custom Crystal to create a coloration with no edits, and the Fancy Summer Custom Crystal to create one with up to 50% edits. You can review this information in the Seasonal Custom Crystals Knowledge Base article.
While water is being flung around, we would also like to announce that we now have a thread open where you can submit an SCC to the pot to be used during this PPP! Please remember that you should only submit your SCC base if it is rule-free, given the nature of this event. You can find the form to submit your SCC here!
The duration of this year's PPP will be announced at a later date.

Exotic Pet Palace Stock

"As some of you may have noticed, my Exotic Pet Palace has received a new stock of pets! They're eager and awaiting new loving owners!"
After the 3 months, the pets currently in stock will be permanently retired and a new stock will replace them. So get them while you can!
If you want to have the chance of getting a design of yours into the pet shop, go ahead and submit them to the Pet Coloration Submissions forum. Some of the submitted designs will be put into Adventure, and some designs will be kept to go into the pet shop!
If your design is now in the pet shop please contact Lacia (#25044) for your free copy. That's right, if your design is accepted and put in the shop you get a free copy. That could save you a good amount of BP!

So if you want to own any of these pretty pets I currently am selling in the Exotic Pet Palace, you should buy them before July 14th.
