Seasonal Dates & Deadlines

After some hiccups, here are some expected dates and deadlines I'm sure you folks have been wondering about:
Rowan's Potion Brewing is now open! Potions will be open for new recipes through November 29th at 11:59 p.m., then will close after the end of the month.
White Herb Potion: Unlocks the special forum title/achievement "Light Magic." I'm currently using this one, so you can see what it looks like by checking out any of my topics/posts.
Red Herb Potion: An alcohol/energy item with 10 charges.
Green Herb Potion: Random potion that will turn your active pet into one of 4 "super" pets. Your options are Super Koaf, Spiced Tea Raffi, Wild Yena, and Candy Corn Chorlu.
Gold Herb Potion: Will turn your active pet into a Broomstick Suune.
Black Herb Potion: Unlocks the special forum title/achievement "Dark Magic."
Banish Brew: Repels monsters for 100 steps in Adventure.
Potion of Transportation: Small chance of yielding a Scroll of Transportation!
Fertility Brew: Small chance of yielding a Fertility Potion!
Please note that the garden will be closing at the end of the month, after November 30th at 11:59 p.m.
The Cauldron will be opening on Satuday, November 28th.
I will post a further announcement detailing the specifics, but approximately 50 customs will be up for grabs this coming weekend, half of which were made by users and the other half of which were created by Dew. We will also be doing raffles for some PSDs and other special items.
To snag a custom pet from the cauldron, you will need one Dusty Cauldron item along with various herbs from the garden this year, so hold onto some if you want a shot!
Haunted Lake
The lake I live on still looks pretty spooky IRL, but the Aywas version will be wrapping up after November 25th at 11:59 p.m.
Frankenstein's Lab
New recipes will be closed down after November 25th at 11:59 p.m.
Projects will able to be collected through the end of the month.
Seasonal Shop
Open through the end of the month for any stragglers still needing wares, closing after November 30th at 11:59 p.m. The Trash for Treasure Halloween item will be leaving at this time as well.
Pumpkin Patch
Open through the end of the month, closing after November 30th at 11:59 p.m.
On a related note, all payments for our pet artists will be completed by the end of the month.
We will have more art opportunities for Aymas (our month-long December celebration), so keep an eye out!

Sketch Breeding Coin

The Sketch Breeding Coin will produce one unbreedable offspring that's a sketched unique pet based off the parents. The pet can later be finished by you or your hired artist to create a full breedable SCC!
The Sketch Breeding Coin has been released!
It comes with a Knowledge Base entry for any questions you might have, as well as to view the artists who were accepted onto the team.
The Sketch Breeding Coin stocks in the USD Shop for $15.00. However, it comes with a built in BP sink:
The Sketch SCC Pen is an SCC maker that stocks in the BP Shop for 50,000,000 BP and allows you to upload a finished version (line, shade, highlight, color) of any sketch you get from the coin. That way, if you like the SCC sketch you got from your breeding, you can get it made into a full, breedable SCC while using only BP.
Use the Derpy Dragon add-on (or a married pair) with your Sketch breeding if you want to get a second sketch (identical to the first) added. That way, you can purchase two Sketch SCC Pens and make your new species "founded."

Breeding Updates

This month's premium item is the Brush Triad!
As you might guess from the appearance, it is a breeding add-on for the Painted Lesser Breeding Coin, and it allows you to include a third parent in the breeding. You are required to own the third parent in your lair for it to be applicable. Please be sure to include a link to the third parent to prove ownership in your breeding notes when using this item, and of course include the PSD!
If your premium expired between now and Nov 1st, please contact Kyu #1010 to receive the item.
The Sketch Breeding Coin is in the pipeline for creation and currently looking around for artists! We have yet to determine what the artist pay or price on this item would be yet, so if you are interested in drawing sketches for the Sketch BC, come check out the Tryouts Thread and help us figure out a price point for it.
The Standing Stones revamp is well underway! Kyu and Mauri are excited to share the news with you when the revamp is complete. They have also put in a good word for you all and ordered a Standing Stones page that shows which add-ons you own and how many.
The most important thing to note in these screenshots is that in the third one, only add-ons compatible with the Painted Metal Breeding Coin used in the sample are available for display (though for size reasons the whole page hasn't been screenshotted).
We are also currently working on a bit of coding that should allow the start of hiring Customs Helpers.
It would enable helpers to rule on designs in specific queues they are assigned without their rulings being automatically processed so the head of customs can review the ruling before the pet is officially accepted or rejected. Ideally, helpers who achieve a high percentage of deemed correct rulings will be allowed permission to move the queue without having their rulings reviewed.
Ideally we are hoping to get this system in place and working near the end of December or beginning of January - after a significant amount of testing to make sure it works!
