This is a little notice that "Google Wallet" as a payment solution is going to be removed on March 1st, so if you like that payment processor and want to use it, please get in any last minute transactions.
It is being removed because Google is shutting it down. As far as I know there is no replacement service from Google being offered. We will still have PayPal and Amazon available.

I checked the google page, and indeed there will not be a replacement service.

Huh wonder why they're removing it. Perhaps it wasn't as popular? Can't say I know anyone who uses it.

Bleh. It was so much easier to use than Paypal--often at the detriment to my spare cash. Now that I'm budgeting more tightly it doesn't make a difference, but why Google, why?

I'm glad. It was a lot easier to use than PayPal, but a bit too easy IMO. My brother logged in to his Gmail email account on my computer to print something and didn't log out; I went on Aywas a few hours later and bought some GP, didn't even realize it charged his Google Wallet account instead of mine until he asked me a few days later. I've been paranoid / extra careful with logging out of my Gmail account ever since :L
