This is a little notice that "Google Wallet" as a payment solution is going to be removed on March 1st, so if you like that payment processor and want to use it, please get in any last minute transactions.
It is being removed because Google is shutting it down. As far as I know there is no replacement service from Google being offered. We will still have PayPal and Amazon available.

Ooh good. I'm glad you guys are keeping Amazon. It's really easy to use. Sorry that Google Wallet has to go, though. :( I'm sure Google has good reasonings for shutting it down. Thanks for the update!

Wonder if CVS trying to phase it out had any impact. Cause CVS refused to accept it as they are making their own pay system.

To anyone asking why Google Wallet's being removed, I don't know the EXACT reason, but I've noticed Google tends to remove any of their projects that aren't a resounding success. (Except for Plus. They're gonna push that on us until our deaths.) I've seen a lot of Google projects come and go In My Time� and only the projects that EVERYONE uses ever stick. The rest go away, possibly to save resources.

It's only being removed for websites selling digital goods, not for apps or some other things. But Aywas does sell digital goods so it still applies

Wow, Google Wallet was the only payment solution available for some games I play. O.o Fortunately, I can use PayPal or Amazon for this one.

Amazon is shutting down the one we use also but not until July. Just got an email from Amazon about it today.

I didn't even know it was still around as there was a notice well over a year ago (maybe even two years) where they had mentioned it was going to be shut down. Didn't use it myself, but I knew a few people who used it since PayPal wouldn't work for them and it was the only other option on some sites that would only accept PayPal or Google Wallet but not credit or debit cards directly.
