Hey, what's up?
I'm excited to announce that our original pet artist redrew our Vyne!! Now it matches the other pets ... wooooo! :)
Obviously, this is going to require some recolors. We have set up a thread where you can submit recolors of the vynes on the new lineart. If your recolor is high quality and accepted by BJ, you'll not only receive a copy of the vyne but 2 GP to go along with it.
Also, the vyne at the top is the Gold Tipped Lotus Vyne. Ten of these will be released on the site - post your favorite thing about the new vyne to try for one of these Gold Tipped Lotuses!

The pose is so much sexier! I've already fawned over the new vynes in chat! Love that colorations, though, purple and yellow really goes nice together. I can't wait to see the vynes recolored!

Vynes have been my favorites ever since I joined and I'm glad to say that I absolutely love the redraw. He's cute and cuddly like the other pets now but still a little definitely the same old vyne. The pose is interesting and dynamic, the shading is much better, and the flowers on his backside are much better defined. My favorite thing, however, is the way his long, tendrily ears combine with the slightly scrunched eyes and the mischievous smile to make him look much more expressive than his older counterpart. Basically, now the Vyne looks like a cool guy to hang out with. The kind of guy who might play a prank or show up on your doorstep with surprise beer. The old Vyne was cute but he just didn't have the same personality.

THIS. YES. I'm so very pleased with the new design. I love the bloomed flowers and the buttleaves and the leaf on the tip of the tail--wonderful. And the fact that the whole thing still looks like a vyne, but better, more alive, like this is what a vyne wanted to be the whole time. The design looks so much more 3D, it's got so much more depth. LOVE IT.

Dude, I love the new vyne. 8D Anyway, things I like about it... The pose, definitely. 8D The eyes and flowers are so beautiful. :) Good job to whoever did the new vyne! Now I can't wait to see what my pumpkin pie looks like. 8DD

It's so... glorious... *worships the artist*
My favorite thing is imagining my Deli-baby in that pose, looking smug and mischeivious and excited and so utterly LOVELY. And everyone else would be backing away, because Dead Leaves Vynes (according to the Aywapedia) stink. And then she'd move, crunch, realize that she'd left behind leaf bits, and NOT lose her balance in her rush to clean it up like the other pose makes her look like she would. C:

I love the mane on those it makes them look like they are flying and the wind is pushing it back.
