June Events and News
June is going to be a fun month! For special events, there will be Kaz and Shoe's Birthday Party on June 14, and Asher's Birthday Party on June 22!
In May, we developed some new features that will go live sometime throughout June. They include: Story Game, where a winner will "add onto the story" every week for a prize, Lottery, Underground Tunnel, where you'll get to figure out your way through a maze, Chaos's Recipe, where you'll help Chaos find ingredients for what he's cooking (with a twist!), Achievements, which will unlock as you experience success around the site, and Magic Quest, where a mage in the desert will train your human avatar in the ways of magic, preparing them to be ready to cast spells.

Cash Shop Pets
Here are all the news pets that can be found in the Cash Shop for the month of June!
Click on any of the pets to go to the Cash Shop! They cost 3 GP for a common or 5 GP for an uncommon.
BP Shop Pets
Here are all the news pets that can be found in the BP Shop for the month of June!
Click on any of the pets to go to the BP Shop! They cost 200,000 BP for a common or 500,000 BP for an uncommon.
Monthly Items and Lunaris
June's birthstone is the Pearl, which means that a Pearl Lunaris has climbed from the depths to join those whose birthdays lay in June.
The Essence of June 2011 is the monthly potion, and is in the Cash Shop for 2 GP.
This month's Premium Item is the Plush Series 4 Box. The new plush series comes out on June 2. This box, as well as all the previous boxes, have been edited to give three random rarity plushes from the set. The older plush boxes have received a small price boost due to this as well.
Monthly Contests
First up, the prizes for two of the monthly contests have changed! The BP Shop and GP Shop contests are now offering your choice of SP, GP, or USD, depending on your preference.
July Monthly Pets - GP Shop
Prize: 3 SP, or 15 GP, or $15 USD, and a copy of the pet
July Monthly Pets - BP Shop
Prize: 2 SP, or 10 GP, or $10 USD, and a copy of the pet
July Customs Contest - Reapers
Prize: 1 SP or 5 GP, and a Blue Custom Crystal
Raffle Crystal Game
This week's raffle crystal winner is Captain D'Artagnan (#2221)! They are now determining the custom pets that will show up in Plush Series 6. In theory, if you want to bribe your way into the set, you should contact Captain D'Artagnan (#2221)! :P
This week's Raffle Crystal prize is: $50 in on-site art vouchers, which can be used to pay artists for designs/pet images
The winner can split that up at their voucher among different artists onsite.
Free Customs
We're giving away nine customs designed during the previous month under the theme SCENE.
To play the free custom game, please include the phrase "CUSTOM #__" in your news comment. For example, if you want Custom 1, please comment "CUSTOM #1."
You may only request one custom, may only request once, and only one person will randomly win each custom.

Paleo Day Pets

Paleo Day(s): May 28 - June 1
Some new things have been added to the Seasonal Shop for Paleo Day(s)!
If you don't feel like exploring, grab either of these from the Cash Shop to get 2 Paleo Feathers or 11 Paleo Feathers (respectively). Also helps to keep the feathers from inflating past 100k each ;)
This Paleo Day Potion costs 10 Paleo Feathers, and will give you one of the following Paleos:
The new Paleo Skull will give you a 50% chance of uploading a 30% edited Paleo custom, and is in the Seasonal Shop for 80 Paleo Feathers.
There are some very special (read: more heavily edited) Paleos also stocking in the shop for 25 Paleo Feathers each.
Paleo Feathers will show up in the Scrublands and Rainforest through June 1st. The pets and items will be in the Seasonal Shop throughout June 2nd to give you time to decide last minute what you want.

Saturday Explore Pets

As if you needed any more reason to sit in Explore! *cheerfully*
Next week's pets are the Vyne, Rogr and Lacer because Slash wouldn't let me have Shisa, Ippo and Velox. As always you'll find everything you need here for your chance at 10 GP per colouration.

Paleo Feathers
New Feature
Hmm, these Paleo Feathers seem to be dropping in the Scrublands and the Rainforest... I wonder what you can use them on? It appears something special is around the corner for this weekend.
In the meantime, gather them up and be ready for what's to come!

New SCC Species Contest

SCC Species Contest
DESCRIPTION: Pretend you're writing a scientific paper about a brand new SCC species that you discovered. Include any facts about it, and be creative - the creature's biology, what it looks like (feel free to include a sketch, but no more than that), where it lives in Ay (habitat), how it fits into the Ay ecosystem, what it eats, its history and how it came to be on Ay, how its social groups work, how intelligent it is... go crazy!
JUDGING: Contest will be judged on creativity and how much detail about your species you are able to come up with. The more detail and depth to your entry, the better a chance it has of winning. Judging will be done by Kyu (#1010).
PRIZES: Three entries will be selected as winners. The prizes for each winner will include:
+ A $25 Voucher from Aywas that can be used to pay any artist on Aywas to create your SCC art
+ Two Silver Custom Crystals for you, to establish your species
+ Five Silver Potions, to be distributed by you to friends or other users free of charge, to create one of your species
END DATE: Entries must be posted here by June 13.
