This profile was very aesthetic and contained detailed information that was well written and pleasant to read. Hikaru is also a very talented artist - you should check out her artwork on deviantart.

I knew it was an artwork/coding contest. :/ Every winner's profile is what you said NOT to do; its a list of facts about the pet that isn't "creative". Can we please have a contest NOT about art?

I do NOT support this contest if its only ever going to be about art/coding. What about those of us that can't draw, code, or pay someone to do it for us?

Taxel I just wanted to say that all through this contest I have been helping people with coding their pet profiles (haha, 3 of the winners used at least parts of my codes on their pages, and the majority of the rest of the entries used my free profile codes) -- if there's a next time, you can feel free to ask me for help!

Aw Chichi you're so sweet. <3 I actually had some of your free profiles on some of my entered characters, simply because those are the layouts I use because I can't afford to buy customs and Aywas coding doesn't sound like fun to learn on top of Subeta and Neo coding. Lol.

Haha well it's all the same really, you just have to know what you're doing! :D

But yeah anyone who is reading this, you can just shoot me a message whenever you need coding help, I'm always glad to help people!

Lovely winners ^.^ I would say *in regards to the question of should we do this again* that no.....its a little too unbalanced of a contest IMO. The only people who will have a chance of winning, it seems, will be those who can do CSS coding...which many people cannot. So its either...you know how to code and have a chance at winning, you cant code but your rich so you can pay someone and have a chance of winning, or you cant code and have no chance of winning :S

There's nothing wrong with giving coders a chance to win. Even despite that, the biggest thing judged was the content. These three were deemed the most interesting to read content-wise by the two judges. The shininess helped but there were shinier entries, just with blander content.

Congrats, guys! Those are some awesome characters. We should throw this contest again (...and again and again)! It really encourages users to use pet profiles to their full potential.

I would like to see more pure writing contests. Or, rather, more things that don't involve art at all. While Aywas does have a really strong art community, there are those of us who aren't very good at it. I fully support this contest being run again for all the coders and artists out there, though. It's nice to see what other people come up with.
