Site Update

Hey all, this is a follow-up to the newspost from Slash a few posts down, regarding the new upgrade to the breeding panel and the revamp of the standing stones, as well as predict submissions.

Currently, predict payout is broken (as some people have found out) in that you won't get the compensation right now for submitting predicts. Because of that, we're going to wait to accept any more until the payout is fixed. If you do submit predicts, please refer to this thread to see what the queue is up to in terms of date. If your breeding has already been assigned, chances are your predicts will not be used.

On another note, since people have been asking about submitting predicts on some types of breedings:

- Eggnog: Submit 2 predicts for your end of the eggnog breeding. In the case where you want to work with the other person that is to be receiving a baby as well, they can submit two as well; if not, their end will be done by an artist. If it is a hybrid breeding, make two hybrid predicts, and if it's any other combination of pets, make one predict for each species/base.

- EBC: Submit 2 predicts, 1 'normal' and one 'evil'. Evil is to the discretion of the submitter, and normal is obviously just that -- what any other baby would be produced from that breeding. If it is a hybrid breeding, 2 hybrid predicts are required, and if it is any other combination of pets, make one predict for each species/base.

- RBC: I decided that if people want to submit predicts for these, fine. You must submit 3 predicts, 1 of which is a mutant/any weird and freaky combo you want, 1 of which is a 'normal' baby, and 1 of which is an alternate 'normal' baby. By this, I mean if you have a Melo x a Soli, for example, this makes a hybrid; make one baby that is a potential hybrid, one baby that is either a Melo or a Soli, and one baby that is a freaky screwed-up mutant. If something like Vyne x Orimi, make 1 mutant, 1 normal Vyne, and 1 normal Orimi. RBC almost always makes mutants, but you do have a small chance of one of your 'normal' babies being born as well. All RBC Hybrids must be editless as well.

As soon as I can go through predicts, I will be rejecting all ones that don't fit the correct rules above (which are subject to change, but that's about what I have decided for now).

Another thing, if you accidentally receive 'twins'/duplicate babies, be sure to email me in order to remove the second baby (and if you used Rosettas, to refund you one). There's a glitch in the panel that if I accidentally click twice on the submit box for babies, it duplicates them. What I do is just change the second offspring into a random common pet and it doesn't show up as a baby from the parents in question.

There is also a glitch where parents, upon receiving eggs, only show as the first parent x the first parent. Don't worry, it's just a coding typo; the babies reflect that it's parent 1 x parent 2 in the lineage.

If you get a cancellation of your breeding as well, it's because you either were due one in the past (and I already refunded you) and now I have the power to actually cancel them (yay!) or you already received the eggs because I uploaded via the old panel and I need to have it reflect in the new panel (which is only about 20 breedings, don't freak out guys. You do have your babies, I'm not canceling anything that shouldn't be!).

I think that's it... remember, please start emailing me questions and concerns (as my poor PM box is back to 5 pages already and I just cleaned it out a week ago... erp) because emailing is easier for me to keep track of. Email me at [email protected] if you need to ask about any of the above or have any further problems.

The new breeding panel is shiny and has a beautiful 'new car' smell, but it's glitchy right now, and I can't wait until the few little things are fixed before I can use it. Guaranteed, if you knew what upgrades I got, you'd be facehugging the computer in glee. It's going to make things much faster when we start using it regularly.

Will BC Candy be required for EBC's and RBC's? If not, will they get the refund if predicts are submitted, and will it be 300k or 3 GP?

Will breeding artists ever be able to submit the babies they've been assigned themselves, as it was in the past, or is something else being planned?

Can anybody explain the breeding process list to me? ^^; *feels dumb*
"EBC: 19 December" does this mean you hope to get all evil breeding coin breedings done until december the 19th? I just ask out of curiosity.

jamew - that means that every EBC breeding up to December 19th has been assigned =) The date after every type of breeding means that that's where that type is currently - so if you submitted your EBC breeding before December 19th, it has been assigned and is done or being worked on. - Pin
