First one is more dynamic, I like that you can see the tail too. Love the face though, looks so devious! :3

i just cannot stand the first pose!! Ugh it keeps bothering me each time i click the homepage...this is not supposed to be another CAT species..its supposed to be a ferret...which HONESTLY the head on both could use some work to be ferrety

I like both but the first has the whole broken tail thing going on so I voted for the second. I know it;s stylistic, but it;s a stylistic choice I do not like.
I wish they were more ferrety though. Both look more cat-like then ferret-like. The legs[especially front] are too long for a mustelid, with too small digits[ferrets have hand-like paws, these look more like dog paws, the fifth digits should be more developed, and they should hit the ground. https://farm1.static.flickr.com/186/409244943_21be1e5863.jpg], and the body looks too short.
The head's big and rounded too, instead of proportionally small and wedge-shaped. The second pose does have the high back but that's the only thing really ferret-like about them.
They actually look more like viverrids [especially binturongs] than mustelids to me.

The belly is actually one of the few feretty things about it

Ferrets have such short legs the belly pokes out when they sit like that.

I love both, but the first pose is amazing ^_^

the only thing I don't like about the first pose is that the tail is bent at sharp angles, like the old drylis's tail.
