If the tail didn't look broken (as seems to be the trend here), I would love the first pose. xD I voted for the second one because of the tail on the first one.

I thought it was a river otter at first. I agree that the design could be worked on a bit but it seems to have the start to a really adorable pet. :D

Doesn't really scream "ferret" to me, and I agree it kinda looks like another feline-type. =/ It's cute though.

(Along the same vein, I saw someone suggest a pounce pose with the butt up in the air... Ferrets don't stick their butts up in the air for pouncing. They arch their backs.)
