Site Update
Okay guys, I need you to keep calm and listen up, okay? That news post was completely bogus; Aywas is not closing and this was not done by Slash as an April Fool's. We believe that his account was temporarily compromised so I've taken his admin status away. I just spoke with Slash on the phone and he's out at the moment but will be home in about an hour and we'll get everything sorted out, so hang tight until then.
Edit: Slash and Yasu are now both online and have been for some time, so you are in good hands. I'm off to bed but didn't want to leave you without that reassurance. I'm sure we'll have more updates for you soon!

@DragonLily: Yeah I thought it was something like that anyway. xD I figured there might be a reason why the admins always refer to slash as a he, I can see why though. As accepting as the internet is, there is still a glass ceiling over women and minorities to some extent, so, it's better for business in the first place. Or it could just be personal reasons, who knows. xD

I figured it was something like that. ^^ I freaked out for a minute, then checked the calender, freaked out a little more, then remembered that Aywas has been goin strong so yay! But reading this was like WHOO cause I love this place.

i logged on to see this posted up and thought" Who said Ayways was shutting down?" then i read on and saw it was supposedly Slash who said it (note supposedly, because its not April 1st, and there would have been advanced warning). i'm relieved, and worried, since i think his account was hacked...maybe a friend did it at his home?

Some friend that would throw his site into such turmoil. =/ For the time being, I'm assuming cookie grabbers. And yeah, when that message got removed, I was a little amused by the prospect of people who missed that drama logging on and wondering, "wut who said Aywas WASN'T fine???" x3
