Site Update
Okay guys, I need you to keep calm and listen up, okay? That news post was completely bogus; Aywas is not closing and this was not done by Slash as an April Fool's. We believe that his account was temporarily compromised so I've taken his admin status away. I just spoke with Slash on the phone and he's out at the moment but will be home in about an hour and we'll get everything sorted out, so hang tight until then.
Edit: Slash and Yasu are now both online and have been for some time, so you are in good hands. I'm off to bed but didn't want to leave you without that reassurance. I'm sure we'll have more updates for you soon!

As ashamed and disappointed as I am with how the users on here dealt with it I wouldn�t go that far but this incident does serve to point out some things that need work on. If anything is to be taken from this, I think we should all remember to save anything from this site we value (long rp posts, custom pet designs, friends email to contact if the site goes down) and to resist our natural instinct to blame the easiest target. Once users began working together (one user pointed out there was no post on facebook, another on twitter, another that the admin accounts were missing and another to other sites with reliable sources/information) the post was easily connected and identified as a hack.

Good luck getting everything checked through and fixed after that hack. You guys (Slash and Admin team) do a busy enough job without having to clean up after some jerk comes and messes around with things.
