Hmmm so we fight, what, hidden rare monsters? I don't have any fancy ways of getting those (fairly new to the site) but it ought to be fun attempting to get these eggs....

@BellaMuerte: Ummm I think it would be that if an egg item has a r100 (okay I'm really new to the site, someone correct me if I'm wrong) that the monster you have to fight needs to have a r100. Rarity 100.. Which is legendary rare, I think? Just any of those.. Maybe XD I don't think hidden rare works... Though I've only run across two of them :/

Has anyone had any luck finding Legendary Rares without detectors? I can't afford any, lol. Also, anyone know if leveling up the Fissures area increase the chances on an LR monster appearing?

I only ever found one LR monster as far as I can remember, in the Rainforest area. In Fissures, I only managed to find a couple of HRs. I don't think levelling up increases your chances - I'm at level 9 currently. True though that the LR in Rainforest I found while at level 12 or so in that area... but I think it has to do with the higher amount of monsters you need to slay - you just have more opportunities of running into a LR when you need to slay 40 monsters.

Level in a particular area does not affect how often you see rarer monsters. I've personally never encountered a Legendary Rare monster without the use of a Monster Detector, unfortunately. :( I've only seen Hidden Rares a few times.

Do you have to fight monsters to get them?
