Oh I'll never find one then.. lol I've never run into a LR monster without a detector before. Oh well! Still interested to see what they do :)

r100? I just used 4 monster detectors and only got bp (not even a worthless r100 item out of them)... same happened with 4 last night in fields.... maybe they are bugged? usually out of 8 I get something....

I've got an Invisible Item Seer to check the vendors, no luck with them either so far. I hope someone figures out where they come from, I'm curious!

Is it at least possible to get the eggs from treasure chests and merchants? Or are only rich people with the money to buy massive amounts of monster detectors going to get them? Cause exploring for hours a day since v3 started and I've never seen a LR monster without one

*sigh* ID one half of me is happy because I love fossils and all... but if it is so ridiculously difficult to get them I probably give up before I even start.

Ugh. Monster Detecters were expensive before and ridiculous now.
