Linorm

The new Linorm won by a landslide.
You can get its PSD here: Linorm coloration thread. As this pet was recently revamped, colorations submitted to the Linorm thread and accepted by Mauri will receive an additional 1 GP payment until further notice.
Free Linorm Customs
If you have some ideas for Linorm customs already, why not try submitting the image here for a chance to get your custom uploaded for you for free? A handful will be picked to upload on March 1ts.
Free Valentines Customs

There was a lot of art that we weren't able to add to the site as site pets for Valentine's - so we're going to be giving them away for free.
Join the NPC Nova on this thread on Feb 23, 1:00 PM aywas time, for a chance to get a pet of yours turned into one of the excess Valentines pets as a custom.
EDIT: Posted instructions on the thread. It's basically a slower version of Risk, and random.
Orimi
Staff has been debating long and hard about the Orimi. A few have had the suggestion to keep the Orimi as it is and release the standing pose as an alt lineart (which means you can make it with orbs like a normal Orimi, but it can only breed with other standing Orimis and not regular Orimis). What do you think?

Well that's crap. 1PM Ay time is noon on the east coast. Hope yall are holding another one of these for other people.
And I guess the Orimi solution is fair.

I really like the redrawn sitting posed orimi, but I figured I liked the standing pose too. Really, I would have rather seen the new sitting pose put into effect if I couldn't win the standing pose.
I think I could love having alt posed orimis. They make for lovely customs :3

I'd be incredibly happy if the standing lineart was used as an alt, and the redraw of the sitting pose replaced the current lineart? That way those who like the sitting pose would be happy, but those wonky back legs and belly would be fixed. :3

OH my gosh. I feel so stoopid.
I misread and thought the giveaway was yesterday, and spent 10 minutes or so wondering why the thread was still locked. *facepalm*
but if it's today that means I can't enter! D:< my drawing class starts at 12.50!
I'm so sad... I wanted the pink suune something awful. :C

I think you guys should make a decision and stick with it. I'm sure you'll do whats best for the site as a whole.
Personally I can see the alt lines becoming more of a pain in the ass as they get older and newer people come and wonder why they can't breed two of the same species together (btw is this how the new love potion melo's are going to work? IE that you can't breed with normal melos?)
Neither are my cup of tea (actually I don't touch the stuff, coffee ftw) as both have a few odd parts but I do understand that either way people are not going to be happy with whatever change is made lol. We're just a load of whiners ;) I do know that if I owned orimi's I would want to be able to interbreed between the two linearts.

I want that standing Orimi in my collection. :)
I don't mind if it's an alt-lineart or the regular one. :) ;)

I'd like it if it was permitted for those of us with custom Orimis who like the revamp could change to the standing pose within a set period of time. ~ Anzel
