Free Valentines Customs
There was a lot of art that we weren't able to add to the site as site pets for Valentine's - so we're going to be giving them away for free.
Join the NPC Nova on this thread on Feb 23, 1:00 PM aywas time, for a chance to get a pet of yours turned into one of the excess Valentines pets as a custom.
EDIT: Posted instructions on the thread. It's basically a slower version of Risk, and random.
Orimi
Staff has been debating long and hard about the Orimi. A few have had the suggestion to keep the Orimi as it is and release the standing pose as an alt lineart (which means you can make it with orbs like a normal Orimi, but it can only breed with other standing Orimis and not regular Orimis). What do you think?

I think this is pretty awesome, actually. I love the old Orimi, but I like the new Orimi more - so it's great that we may have the option and would get to use regular orbs to make customs. :) I think adding a feature like this (using regular orbs / crystals) to make alternate / old / new line Melos would also be a good idea, as Serith suggested, though perhaps implement it for all pets that have had line changes?

I would like the idea. Could we still use DCs to change over the lines or no? Because I think loads of my Orimis would looks better in the standing pose. Otherwise, majority actually loses :/

I dislike the old Orimi and as such don't collect them. If the new lines are simply used for alts then I will continue to ignore them as they simply don't appeal to me. Even with a line art fix, the old art doesn't hold much in the way of interest.

Honestly, I'd rather the standing one be the regular site lines and the sitting one (with fixed leg) be the alt for custom-making. It's a shame that it doesn't seem like it'll be that way.

Why not make everyone happy and swap the current Orimi with the fixed leg version, and then release the standing one as an alt lineart? I think that would make pretty much everyone happy. c:

I love the new Linorm! X3 And I think the suggestion for the Orimi is a good compromise. Having options is quite an interesting concept; maybe we can do that with the Melos too? :o So long as users are aware of the breeding restrictions, then it wont hurt the system at all.
