Last orimi post

Pets

Okay, I have one last orimi post for you (then we'll get into letting you vote on the linorm and the drylis...but that'll come tomorrow or the next day).

The previous poll shows that approximately 90% of the respondents want a change in the orimi, meaning one of the below linearts.

Here are your linearts, in final size:

The below poll will ask you to vote between them. If one of the options wins the poll at 70% or more, the change will begin. If neither option can reach 70% or more, the orimi will remain the same as it is right now.

So please think about your vote, then go ahead and let us know what you'd like!

EDIT

Would you prefer that the majority win this poll instead of 70%? Tell us below.

I liked either the old one or the other flying one. Which was weird but still better :/

I think the thick lines look really well done, myself. After seeing the standing pose lined I think I might be okay with switching over to that one. The tails have a better flow to them in that one, and I don't mind if it's the same as other species poses either. They're different anyways so who cares? XD

I really do like the new one, but I would be a little happier if the ruff looked like it melded into the chest fluff again, it looks a little seperated right now. Other than that, really wanting the nose a tiny bit smaller and the tails perhaps splayed more evenly behind it, I'm really getting into the standing Orimi (when tinypic works, that is *shakes fist at uncooperative third party image hosting site*)

I think the artist being a good sport over this as I know we aren't all nice when we comment, but it's not an attack on the artist but rather different tastes clashing ^^ I'm sure the things that bother me I can change as and when I make customs because it might not bother others.

If we get the standing pose change I know that one of my customs will be getting a make-over because it's more him, whereas the sitting is more his partner. It'll be nice to have a little difference between the two because they are very different in personality *chuckles*

I much prefer the sitting pose.

Has it occurred to anyone that people might be voting for the new lineart because it's new and they haven't had chance to really look at it. New things are always exciting. Just wondering...

Uhhh nope definitely looked at it. People were able to decide pretty quickly on the last new on that they weren't interested so I don't think the new factor has really been playing in.

They both look pretty awesome but the sitting one is slightly cuter and slightly better drawn coz there's a few mistakes on the standing one (as eveglory pointed out)
Why do we need to change it anyway?

I like the tails of the standing one better... buuut...
The standing one looks too much like all the other poses we have for other pets already. I prefer variety. Sitting.

I don't think 70% makes sense in a new vs. new poll. Once a winner among the new ones (almost said "news," har har) is determined, then do that one vs. old. THAT should absolutely require 70%. (And then no more Orimi polls after that plz?) But as someone said before me, the majority vs. 70% poll above is going to be very similar to the vote between poses above: most everyone's picking the one that serves their cause.

I much rather the sitting one.

Why are the tails not properly attatched to the spine on the new one? Also the head looks way heavy and the lines are too thick on the new one. I prefer the old one.
