Okay, I have one last orimi post for you (then we'll get into letting you vote on the linorm and the drylis...but that'll come tomorrow or the next day).
The previous poll shows that approximately 90% of the respondents want a change in the orimi, meaning one of the below linearts.
Here are your linearts, in final size:
The below poll will ask you to vote between them. If one of the options wins the poll at 70% or more, the change will begin. If neither option can reach 70% or more, the orimi will remain the same as it is right now.
So please think about your vote, then go ahead and let us know what you'd like!
EDIT
Would you prefer that the majority win this poll instead of 70%? Tell us below.

i think that, since 90% of people wanted a change, it should change no matter what. it would seem a bit ridiculous if it didn't change just because not everyone could agree on one lineart. i think most people, myself included, would prefer either of these linearts to the current one. i don't really have a preference, and voted for the most popular one in the hopes that it would end up with enough votes to cause a change to happen. i think that it needs to be a majority rules poll. either than, or create another poll with the winning lineart asking whether people want the change to happen. no matter what, 90% of users want a change, it NEEDS to change.

I love the standing pose but there are e few things that I just have to mention.
The tails in the old one are draped while they are not in the new. This I think is to big a change and it sort of makes them look like two different species. Also the lines are a little thick but I'm betting that will be changed so it's fine. The last thing is that the back right leg is a little to bent. I think it should be a tad straighter.
Well i'm done my little splurb.^^ Still love the new art!

I like the new pose but I'm not so keen on the face - it seems somewhat less delicate than the old one... maybe it's the big nose that does it?

I think if this was a poll between the old orimi and the one with the fixed legs, the fixed one would win by more than 70%. I think the community is too torn between new and old. The old orimi didn't need a complete redraw, it just needed to to have a few problems addressed.

No offense...But....A poll like this is redundant....Considering the majority of the "majority rules" will vote "Majority rules" making it the winner, because they WANT their vote to win. They wont change it to go against their vote. I8;;;

Y'know, the sitting pose means that much less art that needs to be redone. A leg redo is much easier than a complete recolor of everything.

will there be a notice when the line art is finally changed? I'm just asking because I have some custom orbs that I need to use, but I want to wait to try doing the work myself when the line art has been decided on. (if you want you can PM the answer if that is easier).

The head looks kind of weird on the new one...

I voted the sitting one.
It's easier to edit (imo), the lines are nicer, and the tails were really short changed in the standing pose. I personally really like the draped, curvey thing the tails have going on in the sitting version - the standing one's tails loose a lot of character in the tail lines.
BUT...if there had been an option to keep both line sets I would have voted that. I mean, there's really no harm in having two sets of lines to choose from and the Standing pose isn't *bad*, I just like the other one a bit better.
