Auctions

Site Update

We're working on fixing the problem. Don't touch any of the items or BP until the fix is over; it shouldn't take long.

EDIT: BP, shop stock, the auctions themselves, and inventories will be restored to where they were around 9:30 AM.

1:43 PM: Server company still hasn't gotten us the backups yet. You'll be alerted here when we have restored the site to 9:30 AM.

I have a suggestion. To be fair, why don't you reset everything back to like a second before the auction ended? I woke up extremely early to participate, I did the auction and I won the item fair and square. I think that even if you have to do it one by one, you should reset the auctions to only 1 second before it ended. Then the people who initialy won will get there items. And the people who lost, will get the right amount of money back.

When are they going to be restored? I just got back, and have no clue how long ago the edit was made. o-o And, everything is still the same as was when I left. XD

@Bluejay/Con: The potential problem with that is that people who were outbid (and received glitched BP) in an earlier auction (one of the first to end, that is) may have won a later auction (one of the last to end) using the glitched BP, whether or not they realized it. I know I didn't immediately notice that I had extra BP, and I know I'm not the only one, either. ~ Di

@ Gunnolf and Di: That is why I said that that you could reset each auction one at time, solving that problem.

But that doesn't solve the problem. The last person to bid on a later auction could still have been using glitched BP to do it. Even if you reset the auctions one at a time, the final bids on some of the later auctions may have been made with BP that the bidder didn't technically (and won't, once the BP is restored) have. ~ Di

I guess your right. But if all the auctions are reset, people, (like me) will be extremely angry if they don't win what they originally won because of a stupid glitch.

*sighs* I still think the first two auctions should be left alone, the lesser/Breeding Pendants. Cause there's no why the two could have been cheated on. They were literally seconds apart. It's gonna suck having to watch it again. ._.

That's understandable, too; if I'd won, I'd be pretty annoyed that I'd have to try to win it again. Unfortunately, resetting everything back to before the first auction ended is pretty much the only fair way to do it. :/ I hope you win your Vion Seeds again. <3 Di
