It looks like when you use a Mysterious Orange Rock on your active pet, you get one of these orange creatures D=
You all get Mysterious Orange Rocks* if you have logged in the last 3 days... trade other people to get the whole set of pets!
Orange kitty approves of orange day! (but not of the melo near him, it lacks nuff orange)

BTW, we just hit 11,111 users... that's kind of AWESOME.
*Apparently they keep falling all throughout the day?
