It looks like either a Black and Yellow Garden spider or a Writing Spider as has been stated numerously throughout this post. :3
But if this is to give it a name, I'd call it Sophia, because I do believe it's a female based on the overall size of the spider. And she kinda looks like a Sophie to me. ^^;;

...:D I had one of those as a pet. I had him for a few months before he got old and died. :c I fed him grasshoppers and crickets. I'd name him Jericho, because that was the name of mine. :D

Names for the spider: Aragog, Creature, Cretin, Macabre...thats all I can think of xD
