After a long day and night of debating minuscule changes (but hey, it made it look better), we finally came to a decision regarding the melo. It's going into a revamp, and we've fixed things as much as we could to make as many people happy as possible while still retaining sensibility to our style.
Submit new Melo Colorations!
If you are unhappy with the melo's new lines, you should be pleased to know that we are coming out with another set of crystals that will let you submit old lineart pets directly without having to make them as new lineart pets first.
Thanks for sharing all your opinions, comments, and fixes, and we hope you can enjoy the new melo. We will let you know when the revamp is complete (when all site colors have been revamped). Until then, feel free to submit old lineart melos as you desire.
There's an Ay feline pet coming soon too... look forward to it!

I've always preferred the redraw, so no converting from me. XD Though I admit, the muzzle does look off (like a bunch of others have pointed out).

The face and ears still look odd to me. I think it's the line of the far cheek that bothers me the most... and the nose seems rather plopped on.
BUT HEY WHATEVER. I never much cared for Melos anyway. Now, if the Solis or Gaels could be fixed...

THAT IS PERFECT. :D The line coming off the nose to the mouth is crooked, I think, which is part of the problem of the muzzle. :3 But the front leg looks MUCH better. 8DDD

Certainly better. The issues I had with the body on every other version are fixed in this one, and I think the only reason I dislike the nose is that it's colored. So, I'd be happy with this one.

The back paws are a bit too low compared to the front paws. Makes it look uneven. P:
