After a long day and night of debating minuscule changes (but hey, it made it look better), we finally came to a decision regarding the melo. It's going into a revamp, and we've fixed things as much as we could to make as many people happy as possible while still retaining sensibility to our style.
Submit new Melo Colorations!
If you are unhappy with the melo's new lines, you should be pleased to know that we are coming out with another set of crystals that will let you submit old lineart pets directly without having to make them as new lineart pets first.
Thanks for sharing all your opinions, comments, and fixes, and we hope you can enjoy the new melo. We will let you know when the revamp is complete (when all site colors have been revamped). Until then, feel free to submit old lineart melos as you desire.
There's an Ay feline pet coming soon too... look forward to it!

The muzzle just looks fat... I think if the line wasn't rounded down, and made straighter it would make it look less fat.

Maybe if the split lip was straighter (it's really curved right now and that may be throwing off the muzzle?) people would be happier.

I think the lip line isn't quite strait with the nose. The top point in the lip seems like its a bit too far to the left maybe.

I like the one without the split. It also kinda looks a little fat by it's chest though. I think I liked the flat look on it better.
