Anyway, so someone asked what a re-inked melo (as opposed to redrawn) would look like, so we produced this.
Which do you like better? I'm fairly ambivalent either way.

The first one's face looks a bit funky now. D: I think the nose needs to be out more, so it makes sense for the further side to be less visible. Right now it looks like he's looking more towards the viewer, so the face should be showing more.

If the main issue with the original is the shading - like I am seeing many users claim - why not redo the shading as well as reinking?

Honestly? I really like the head/ears and tail on the second one, but The first one has eyes that would obviously be easier to edit, and I like the muzzle better. :>

I LOVE the image above me, the ears look a littletoo big for the head but it just looks so much better, I really dislike the shading on the re-ink's tail, I prefer the light being the majority and the shading being the small line that goes up the side

I wish it's body was as long as the original melos since I think it would look better, but oh well. X3
