I'm sorry, but the entire face needs to be redone. The eyes are weird, the muzzle is crooked, the ears are on wrong.
Not to be offensive or anything, but this is like 100% worse than the current lineart.

I think my biggest issue with this piece is it's so SLOPPY. It's like the artist didn't put any effort into it at all. :/ Sorry, Kui, Slash, no support for this thing.

THIS ONE. I love this one. The only things I find weird about it is that it looks like something's growing out the back of its head, and the ear fluff is too pointy. Honestly, I think it's a big improvement over the other two linearts because it looks more lively and more like an animal than a chibi doll thing.

I liked the old melo, lol. >.>; The head... the mouth is funky. Really weird. x.x; Um... the legs are a bit awkward, but overall I still think it's fine the old way. <.<;

I'm sorry but I don't see why we need to revamp the melo in the first placer. Lots of people seem to like the melo just the way it is. Like I said, I'm sorry, and I'm not trying to be rude, but I think it would be easier on everyones part to just leave the melo alone.

I like the tail better than the old one. However, I have the same issues with the head as others have stated. The fluff on the ears looks so uniform (as oppose to natural fluff, which has small and large chunks of fur), and.. hmm. I suppose I just don't like the ears. However, that could be because this isn't shaded/highlighted yet, so maybe after that the head and ears will look better to me.

I think it looks funny, it is very disproportional. Umm, I think the head/ears ned to be smaller. Also the hair on this guy is to pointed, when I think of the Melo I think of something fluffy and cute. The cheeks are also uneven, the right sticks out a bit and the left blends into the face looking flat/smaller.

People need to remember you're not going to get the things exactly on the forums; they *will* be redrawn by the site artist. That said, that melo looks alot like the thread's suggestions, I can see the individual artist's references. I say go with it Slash XD
