A lot of people didn't want a ghost dog, so we'll be keeping the phanto roughly the same. We have a redraw that has the phanto the same as it was in the original, then we have a redraw of Skitty's design that she submitted in the news comments:
Also, remember, July 1 - 9th is BREEDING COIN SEASON!!! Breeding coins will be in the GP Shop for 75 GP as they always are. Here are the defaults for the new hybrids coming out during breeding coin season (sans the foo dog, as its not done yet):
Gael x Rogr | Vyne x Oakl
Soli x Rogr | Oakl x Reve
Okay, enjoy! The foo dog will be done in time for the BC release but you'll have to be surprised when you see its default ;)

Sorry, but I think the new design is scary and bad-looking. I don't want my precious Phanto to look like that. It's cute as is.

where's the option on the poll to dislike BOTH designs? ...... I swear this site is beginning to wear on my nerves. I like the pets they way they ARE - thats why I was collecting them, but then the insis were changed to something I hate, and now my phantos are going to die a horrid death as well. What is the point to collecting them if you're just going to change them into something less nifty later.

The more I look the more I'm not sure. :(
I do really like skitty's design but at the same time I think I'd miss the old phantos.
Heck, something about the old ones bugs me, but I can't place it...
And they're difficult to make edits with, for me... But otherwise, I dunno..

Lovely hybrids. No lie, I love them and want at least 3. Ugh. Too many pets, too little time.
As for the phanto, I'm really upset that it might be changing looks. I think of it in this way... There are tons of people who don't really like phantos voting. So of course their vote is going to be to change them. However, they people who don't like phantos usually love ANOTHER species such as the melo... But then there are others of us who really prefer phantos over most species and having them changed is really going to hurt. Even if they aren't that popular, they have their own fan base which isn't going to be as happy on the site if you take away their favorite critter. Not every Aywa is going to please everyone... They just can't. So why change and please the people who already have other favorites instead of keeping the ones that are happy... happy.
