A lot of people didn't want a ghost dog, so we'll be keeping the phanto roughly the same. We have a redraw that has the phanto the same as it was in the original, then we have a redraw of Skitty's design that she submitted in the news comments:
Also, remember, July 1 - 9th is BREEDING COIN SEASON!!! Breeding coins will be in the GP Shop for 75 GP as they always are. Here are the defaults for the new hybrids coming out during breeding coin season (sans the foo dog, as its not done yet):
Gael x Rogr | Vyne x Oakl
Soli x Rogr | Oakl x Reve
Okay, enjoy! The foo dog will be done in time for the BC release but you'll have to be surprised when you see its default ;)

I love the Soli x Rogr & Oakl x Reve ones those are great, but I'm not sure I've seen anything yet that I love more then Melo x Insi, but I love the Insi's so heh a bit biased there hehe. The ninth is yer birthday though Slashy one? Happy early birthday hope ya have a good one...

Hmm, looking a bit closer at the Skitty-design-redraw, I think the hands need to come down a bit. They seem a bit stiff now the way they're held out. And I think the face would look better with a *slightly* shorter snout (didn't mean for it to be quite that long) and with the eyes looking down like "I'm gonna getchew you puny little mortal" instead of like "rar hey what was that noise behind me." More like the original... though since I drew it I think I'm biased. xD

I love Skitty's design! I like the slightly elongated face, the old one reminds me of Casper. Also liking the new feetsies.

ACK!!!! I've change my mind! I'm falling in love with the original Phanto!!! :O Maybe there could be another new pet out there made with Skitty's design? Name it Phantu or something? :P

Loveee the new hybrids.
As for the phantos, while Skitty's design is awesome, I think it just looks too reptilian, which is similar to the Soli, the Rogr, and the Vyne :/ I liked the old phantos because they were unique.
