Hi guys! Here's something I've been thinking about: many of you seem to really dislike the phanto, and I'd like to ask: why? Is it because it's not animal-enough? What about the design or pet in general do you dislike?
We have been considering changing the phanto into a ghost dog-like sort of thing (not necessarily a dog, but a ghost quad). Would you like the phanto more this way? Do you prefer it the way it is now? We want you to be happy!
Please share your thoughts!

I kinda have to agree with what Dreyja & Drix (#3360) mentioned.
They are hard to customize into something worth while while trying to keep edits to a minimum crystal-wise. While I think the current design is fine, I'm not a very big fan of them. Reason being, I'm more of an animal enthusiast, then that fact that they suck hardcore to customize. But I only say this because I'm having trouble imagining the 'ghost dog' idea (though it sounds interesting!). xD
Maybe have a few very rough different sketches drawn out then take it to a poll? Out of curiosity, I'd really like to see what other ideas could be made. Maybe it would sway the phanto fans who have posted here to rethink it, as well as bring up the popularity of the phantos.

Phantos are so discriminated against - they rarely win in the monthlies so there are rarely any other colorations - and they're lovely. looovely. I want them to stay, but not with crazy changes. No quads for it, please. Just retire the lines now if you must, and make a new ghost-ish species. :/

I'm not really good at visualizing that just from reading the words. I'd love to see sketches. :3
I never really liked the Phantos because, well, they're just not appealing. They're kind of bulky and heavy looking(if that makes any sense), and I don't really think I'll ever like them unless they're entirely changed. D: Which I wouldn't want. I can see from this thread that many people like Phantos as is, and I don't have to like everything if so many others wouldn't want a change. xD

A nicer pose and better face is all it really needs. So personally Id prefer a redraw rather then a drastic change.

It's not horribly hard to make a pretty phanto coloration without going into GCC territory.
I've managed it here. This was a metal custom.

I like the Phanto, but if it had to change, I think it could look more scarier, mainly just the face expression. D: But no quad, please. ;-; I wouldn't ever get one if it changed completely. As Khiarhu said before me, if it changed to quad, please just retire and make a new species.

Redraw please? :c But don't make it a dog-like ghost. I don't like huge change. xD
