LBC Hybrid Update.

Pets

Sexify me, cap'n!

In discussing it with Slash, we're now allowing users to submit their own offspring for LBC Hybrid breedings. This comes with a few notes, however:

- This only applies to same-lineart hybrids. Old lineart x new lineart will still be done by us, and of course will regular hybrid breedings as well.

- You will still have to submit four possibilities like any user-submitted offspring. I'll be looking over these just like any other submitted offspring. Submit your possibilities to the usual, [email protected]

- There's something of a 'catch' though: we are still not going to provide hybrid .psds out. If the g2 .psd request board wasn't already an indication, we don't even have a lot of the hybrid breeding ones, so we're not going to be offering those out. You'll have to use the .pngs or somehow rework them to your whims, but you'll at least be able to make them exactly like you want in many cases.

This goes into effect for all LBC hybrid breedings submitted from hereon out. All ones currently in queue are going to be handled by the breeding artists still, as I've pretty much assigned most of them out by now.

Hope this is a good compromise!

"Why exactly can't we have the PSDs of our hybrids?"

Re-read the post. :)

Zebby, the original post said that it was because they don't have a lot of them, but the ones they DO have they could give out. But Frey's explained that part of it.

Frey- You do keep track of the hybrid PSDs you do have, right? It makes me kind of nervous not having my own quetzal's PSD because I worry it might get lost or deleted, but that might just be me.

Anyone care to explain how to submit a breeding anyhow? D:

Aywas-users really are WAY too spoiled...

Oh, artists always keep their ones they make, and I do have recent ones as I've requested artists to begin sending in their hybrid .psds too, but I don't have any from about... well, two weeks ago and back. So that's why I'm not sending out .psds for hybrids at the moment. And the LBC hybrid .psds I have... well... trust me, some of the .psds I get for hybrids are near useless anyway. We use .pngs half the time for ours as well, and it isn't as if they'd be helpful. XD Otherwise I'd give those out no probs.

I'm still not happy that we can't get the .psds though. That just makes the babies of the babies have even lesser quality offspring unless you want to breeding artists to try recreating them in .psd format which is more work than needed. I am still not satisfied.

Marjo - victim of a book-avalanche... (#5741) sry that some of us expect to get our money's worth. I know it greatly inconveniences you.
