"Hey! Hey! Did you see it?" Miksa asks you excitedly as Tech seems preoccupied with a gadget in his hands. "It's here again! The Lunar Meteor! You know what that means, right? There's new pets to befriend!" she continued on before showing you photos of a few pets that you haven't seen before.
"Oh, but you should be careful. There's always been a few... not-so-nice pets, but there appears to be monsters wandering around this year. You can try to capture those if you really want to, but please be careful!" As she finished her warning, she produced a couple more photos.
"We've already done a good bit of exploring and found some pretty neat things. Money is getting a little tight though, so to fund our future expeditions, we've opened up a Seasonal Shop! Every little bit counts!"
Once Miksa finished speaking, Tech gave her arm a poke before showing her what he had been working on. "According to Tech's device, the Lunar Meteor will be gone after 11:59 PM AST on August 31st. Well, then that'll be when we close up shop too!"
With that said, Tech nodded and grinned before heading toward the shopping district. Miksa, on the other hand, seemed to be heading toward the meteor once more. If you're ready to explore, you should follow her!
If you have some downtime between trying to wrangle pets and monsters, feel free to swing on by the Wish Upon a Star: Pets and Wish Upon a Star: Items threads! Who knows what wishes the stars may grant!
There is also another Museum Collection to complete! After you turn in the necessary items, you will be able to claim a Star Ticket, which will be used in a few raffles that we will have ready for you later on in the week.
The Pouch of Stardust has made a reappearance in the Seasonal Shop - with four new pets included in it! Don't worry, we won't judge you for any RNG rituals you may do before attempting to open one.
Now go on, be free, and play among the stars!

The only one giving me trouble is the Appaloosa Crawler's partner. But that's not bad for day one. XD

Ok I read through the comments and am still unsure. Do I have to battle a monster until defeated to add it to my lair or can I capture it like I would a pet? I have the monster certificate on my pet. I want to get the pets in my lair. I tried defeating and nothing. I tried to capture a partially injured monster and it said captured successfully but it's not in my lair

Thanks for asking, Phage [Recovering] (#21624); I was looking at the normal skills when I should have been looking at the HIDDEN skills. I did, in fact, have it already... Plenty of "caught" monsters, but none willing to come home with us, yet.

monster flutes and monster detectors and burnt bones.... that appaloosa crawler is still evading me lol
