"Hey! Hey! Did you see it?" Miksa asks you excitedly as Tech seems preoccupied with a gadget in his hands. "It's here again! The Lunar Meteor! You know what that means, right? There's new pets to befriend!" she continued on before showing you photos of a few pets that you haven't seen before.
"Oh, but you should be careful. There's always been a few... not-so-nice pets, but there appears to be monsters wandering around this year. You can try to capture those if you really want to, but please be careful!" As she finished her warning, she produced a couple more photos.
"We've already done a good bit of exploring and found some pretty neat things. Money is getting a little tight though, so to fund our future expeditions, we've opened up a Seasonal Shop! Every little bit counts!"
Once Miksa finished speaking, Tech gave her arm a poke before showing her what he had been working on. "According to Tech's device, the Lunar Meteor will be gone after 11:59 PM AST on August 31st. Well, then that'll be when we close up shop too!"
With that said, Tech nodded and grinned before heading toward the shopping district. Miksa, on the other hand, seemed to be heading toward the meteor once more. If you're ready to explore, you should follow her!
If you have some downtime between trying to wrangle pets and monsters, feel free to swing on by the Wish Upon a Star: Pets and Wish Upon a Star: Items threads! Who knows what wishes the stars may grant!
There is also another Museum Collection to complete! After you turn in the necessary items, you will be able to claim a Star Ticket, which will be used in a few raffles that we will have ready for you later on in the week.
The Pouch of Stardust has made a reappearance in the Seasonal Shop - with four new pets included in it! Don't worry, we won't judge you for any RNG rituals you may do before attempting to open one.
Now go on, be free, and play among the stars!

It' a joke; it's kind of like how people will press B when trying to catch Pokemon because some people swear it makes it easier, or how some people surround themselves with merchandise of a certain character when playing mobile games to feel like they are upping their chances to pull them.

For the monster skill, it should appear under your other skills on your pet's profile. If you "catch" them for your Battledome collection, it's different from "catching" them in your lair (which is what the Monster Certification skill is for). If I misunderstood your question, please let me know!

Thanks, Lacia (#25044), but that didn't quiiiite answer it... I want to have a chance of adding them to my Lair, so I know I need the skill. It LOOKS like I may have gotten that skill from completing the collection via the Museum, but it's not showing in my completed museum collections and there's nothing showing under my pet's skills. Is it possible I missed a step somewhere?

Spent this evening flinging around monster flutes and monster detectors - Just the nebula spacecrawler left to snag! XD That's a mission for tomorrow, lol.

25044, RING Ritual? Also, how would one know if they have the Monster skill? It's not showing under pet's my skills, but the Museum shows all monsters have been completed and there is no button to get the certificate, so I must have gotten it at some point, right? I just want to confirm it before I purchase one.
