Snapdragon Ceremony: Challenge 4 Begins

Events

The venue was now unrecognizable in its current finished state. What once had started off as a humble room lacking even tables and chairs, now was not only adorned with furnishings and food, but music and magic. Floating candles hung in various areas around the ballroom, giving a soft inviting ambient glow. Cold embers from the faerie lights drifted in the air, illuminating the most charming of the decorations - the magical waterfall. The water's source appeared from nowhere, but seemingly endless as it filled a small pond now located in the ballroom. A brilliant chandelier hung over the dance floor.

Minerva smiled at the decorations, seemingly everything coming out far better than even she had anticipated. Rowan looked as though she had stars in her eyes, simply in awe of how beautiful everything was turning out.

It was truly a spectacular feat of design, but more than that, it was slowly becoming perfect.

Rowan pulled out a small notebook, and scratched off another 'challenge'. Minerva glanced over, attempting to peek to see what all remained. Rowan closed it with satisfaction. All that was left, of course, was dressing the brides. "No peeking!" Rowan joked.

"It isn't peeking if it's part of a planned and coordinated event." Minerva posted as a counterpoint. But she had already figured that likely it was getting themselves ready for the event. Dresses, make-up, getting their hair done...

It is clear what must be done to help the two brides out!

"By the way, we have 'yeeted' anyone who hasn't been participating thus far!" Rowan announced, pumping a fist into the air.

"Rowan... Please never say that again," Minerva cringed, gently pulling Rowan's arm back down to her side.

As Rowan mentioned, all users who have not contributed for the duration of the event to this point have been removed from your teams. It seemed there may have been some confusion after the previous news post, so hopefully this will clear it up: as long as everyone is contributing, it should be easy for your team to make it to the next color!

You will have until 6:30 PM AST on April 19th to accumulate points for your team for this challenge.

People should be able to rejoin at the cost of event items, if they really didn't have time to do it up until now. With the coronavirus, both I and Deino have had to invest in our freelancing jobs to keep ends meeting and haven't had the chance to participate. We understand that it was only fair to cull people who aren't participating, but give people a chance to try again.

I feel like it would have been more useful to 1) have the points at the top be the actual points rather than using it to later calculate the winners but more vitally 2) rather than depending on a 1:1 (which is unfair for a smaller team) or on the number of people on a team, use the number of players who participated in that specific event. This way non-participants don't negatively affect anything and people who have irregular schedules aren't totally dropped if they can't pull their weight for a while.

I hate that you change the colors whenever you want. People live in different time zones. People have to sleep, some still work or have school or other time consuming chores. you can't check every 5 minutes if the colors have changed. 1 color a day would have been so much better. Also it would have been better with one round per color and when there is no color left (when all the colors have been used once) the event is over. now it just feels endless. and there is no way of knowing who is winning. the best bet to be on the winning team is not to pick who's team you actually want to be on, but pick the one with the fewest members, then you will automatically win.

Also the Minerva and Rowan picture are stretched out on the snapdragon ceremony page at the moment (Rowan's picture is under Minerva). might want to look into that.
