Good evening, Aywas, it is with a somber note that I come to you tonight. I am going to preface this with a trigger warning for death, so please only continue reading if you feel confident you can handle this type of news.
It is with a heavy heart that I am here to tell you that Dani/Kayla-la (#48591) has passed away. For those of you who don't know, Dani was one of our longest standing site artists and a close friend with a large portion of the site.
We ask that you please bear with us as we try to cope with this and ask that you keep discussion of the circumstances off site. We are planning something to honor her memory but it will take some time to get everything ironed out and we will make another news post with that information when we have it.
Dani always wanted to help others, so that is what we are currently planning. We are hoping to hold a donation drive in her honor, if you would like to donate a PSD or create a PSD for her please send me Kaiyo (#489) a PM. If this is a pre-existing PSD please ensure it has not ever been sold or used before, and there can be no rules attached.
Please keep the comments decent, and remember to abide by the ToS. I am keeping comments open, however please be advised this one time I will delete comments if they violate ToS.

Omg... this is very shocking news... ;_;
I didn't know Dani/Kayla-la personally, but I have spoken with her a number of times and admire her artwork and personality. We were fortunate to have such an awesome presence amongst us to be gone within a heartbeat. My heart breaks of this news and my condolences to those dear to her. May Dani RIP and find the peace she deserves. I will cherish her art I do have, forever. <3

I may not have known Dani but I have read things she's done and posted. It's a shame that someone with such kindness had to leave us and I'm sorry for everyone who knew her and her family.
May she rest in peace. <3

Didn't know Dani ( probably because I don't post in the forums for personal reasons), but I am saddened by her passing just the same. I am praying for a successful journey into whatever afterlife she believes in, and for all those she leaves behind.

I only spoke to her once, but this still hits so hard. Goodbye, Dani. You were so sweet that that single conversation made a lasting impact.

This is really sad. :( My main active pet was made by Dani, I shall edit Angel's profile in her memory. May she rest in peace, we shall forever miss her, while I didn't know her very well, I still am sorry and sad at this news, and hope her family is doing well.
