As promised we have two new awesome designs! The concepts were by Toby (#24557) and ❤ Love ❤ (#72947), and brought to life by Kaiyo (#489), and a combo of Kai and Kita (#3988)!
Hopefully you love them as much as we do.
And as a bonus for being so awesome - not only with the downtime, but for it being completely unexpectedly early - we're putting the Downtime Potion to make these into the Advent for two days!
That's right, on the 27th and the 28th you can pick up a free Downtime Potion!
But the fun doesn't stop there...
The Metal Breeding Coin queue is a little sad and lonely - so we've reduced the price of the coin to 7mil BP! This price will be sticking around for the foreseeable future.
And we're STILL not done!
Next week we're going to throw a mini MBC event - much like the RBC event in December but with different themes and perks. Keep your eyes peeled, it might just get you reaching for your BP and throwing it at Scion*.
(* Throwing anything at Scion is not recommended and can result in a very grumpy NPC that staff have to feed cookies to placate. Please do not assault our NPCs with money.)
After a lot of deliberation with staff, we have decided to loosen our anthro rules to allow anthro style pets to be created.
We do however have a few small rules:
- Anthro pets must be fully animal or creature.
- They cannot have any human traits as defined in the disallowed and "in isolation" lists.
- They cannot breed with any pet that has humanoid traits as defined in the "in isolation" list.
The rules may need to be revisited to be stricter in the future if problems arise where customs are becoming too humanoid in a way that goes against the intents of our customs system.
These rules have been added in a subsection of the Humanoid Rules knowledgebase article.

Khaos (#11644) - Exactly, like Zootopia! A goat anthro would absolutely have to have hooves and not hands - hands are an "in isolation" humanoid trait which isn't considered compatible with how we will allow anthros on site. Like I said, it's a little experimental, we might have to add some regulations if things get a little wild - but we're hoping it's going to be something that allows some different creativity ^^

Eve (#2775) So something like this wouldn't be acceptable or are those "hands" far enough removed from 5 fingered human hands to be okay? You're likely going to have to outline the line where a paw becomes a hand in particular and whether or not you will allow breasts without nippes and what not ofc

Khaos (#11644) - Breasts are an "in isolation" edit, and therefore would not be compatible with Anthro pets. That sort of "hoof hand" ... that gets into subjective territory. Some may be okay, and others might take it too far - so personally for me I would consider not using them to err on the side of caution. In general that design would not be okay (implied breasts, humanoid torso shape, humanoid arms and legs, as well as a humanoid jawline).
Rhee (#258) - As long as it didn't have human feet on the end of the legs, and doesn't have human hands on the ends of the arms, you could always do that if you had wanted to - the KB shows them as "in isolation" (meaning you can only have one of the listed edits) and have always been allowed.

Khaos (#11644) - Breasts are under the isolation area, so it any would be instantly denied as its stated any edits that are under the "in isolation" area are instantly denied on anthro pets.

so in essence its not really an anthro pet its more a "bipedal animal" since torso shape and the transition into hands/ more humanoid like leg and arm structure marks quite a few anthro designs

This will certainly be an interesting thing honestly. Like for instance you wanted to do "fingers" instead of hooves for a goat anthro are you allowed to do that or do they absolutely have to be hooves?
Think zootopia styled anthros? would something as far as that be allowed?
