I believe it's intended to be very restrictive in that it is, essentially, filling in a function-hole that the Dawn Crystal couldn't be used for (ie. altering but not removing an edit).
And yes, it can only make things smaller. I think it would probably open a loophole to far too much abuse if an item was created that allowed edit additions onto existing pets. (you can't bump a custom UP into a higher, and therefore more expensive, maker range by removing or diminishing edits)

This is an AWESOME item! It brings me to a question though, and I'm hoping I can get an answer from you lovely people... AGES ago, I bought a premade of one of the birds of paradise. There are SO many problems with it, the first being that I was never given a PSD, and the second, it has a purple background. The pet can be found here. Is there ANYTHING I can do to fix it? It'sobviously got a TON of issues, and I don't even remember who the artist was that created it. Suggestions?

Arinaya Rutherford (#34865) - Oh my, I have to confess I'm not sure how it got accepted with that background! If you're happy keeping it a PNG you could clip off the background and replace the lineart to neaten up the edges. If you want a PSD your best bet would probably be to use an Essence of Revamp and redo the pet. PM me when you decide what to do and we'll see what we can do for you ^^

Arinaya Rutherford (#34865), According to the Pet's page, its previous owner was Ladya & Michi (LL) (#716), so you may want to start with contacting them for further info; they may even have the .psd or know where to get it.

The pet was transferred to them for a scav assignment a couple years ago, and then sent back after scav was over. I wish they actually had it, lol
