Breedings

I am hoping to throw money at one of my programmers tonight to make an upgrade to the breeding script so artists can upload babies directly. This should remove most of the uploading wait problem.

Also note that the current official waiting time is this: in breedings where the parents have identical linearts, the wait time is a few hours to a few days. In breedings where the parents have different linearts, the wait time can be a month or more.

Obviously, the upgrade should help fix that, but as of this press release that is the waiting time.

Games

A friend of mine is really getting into coding games (like other sites have, flash games and so forth) and might make us a whole bunch during the summer. I invite you to go to the Suggestions board and list some of your favorite flash games and how they work, as well as a way to "Aywa-fy" them. Think in terms of using Aywas graphics, aywas pets, aywas items, aywas backgrounds, etc. If you want to design the art for the flash game you are welcome to do so. We might buy it from you!

Explore

Would you prefer moving a miniature version of your pet across a map when exploring, or you do prefer the current version? (where the pet encounters items/other pets on the current images)

Or can you imagine Explore in a different way? We're playing with how explore is set up in the recode and now is a good time to make suggestions regarding playability and making it more fun.

I really like how explore is...it's a great concept that doesn't need changing at the moment.

I do like the current version of explore, I have a fast enough computer that I can do things like that as quickly as I please or the energy allows, but I think it would also be fun if we had kind of what Gaia online has, where your character, or pet in this case, walks around to whatever. If you find an item, a little screen would pop up and say, "you've found...Do you wish to pick it up?" And you can say yes, or no, and keep going. You'd get around through little arrows on the sides or bottom of the screen which point to go on. You wouldn't really have to change any thing in the image of where you go on, like in the desert for instance, a few rocks, some little desert plants, and sand, that's all there really is. And if you come across another Aywa that wants to fight, it'd show up on the map, similar to how it does now, and you can either click on it, and fight it, or ignore it and walk on past.

That's what I think of anyways.

I prefer how explore is now, games I am sure you will make good decisions im not much of a flash game lover, breeding, I am not happy with it currently, so much so I traded a breeding coin for vion seeds and do not plan to breed again until the wait is changed, I don't mind a week wait for a breeding or a custom but I too am waiting on a breeding done the first week of Feb, NON hybrid, not much of a line art change it was drylis x drylis hers had a mane.. Im not an artist, I do however know all about uploading to a parent directory, image paths, and avatar or pet creations. I look forward to a speed up.

I know this won't happen but a mud/muck style explore would rock where you have a list of commands like north, south, look, pick up, examine, drop ect would be amazing at least for me XD.

Please don't make it like Neopets' Neoquest or Ichumon's RPG Explorer- I really like the original set up it has. (: Just a few suggestions/ideas for any changes to be made, maybe add more levels to certain maps, and when you get to a point, give the explorer and option to choose between different paths that might lead to different Aywas or items. Perhaps make the actual battle screen a little more aesthetically appealing (small buttons and/or images instead of large text for attacks, icons for elements when they're implemented, etc.)

I think the explore is just fine as it is. One of those "if it ain't broke don't fix it" times. :) (that might be a Brit phrase, but it fits)
