Bot: Querel's log: Day 2!

Site Update

collectable_slashbot.pngquerel.png?1470707140collectable_slashbot.png
Good evening again~ Did you miss me? It seems that the radioactive properties of the Uranium Ore has changed the Radioactive Breeding coins again! They just keep morphing... I wonder what tomorrow will bring..? Querel trails off in thought, doing a small flip in the air before suddenly jolting back, realizing he had been mid sentence, Ah! Anyways! Today until 11:59PM on December 7th any Radioactive Breeding coins that you submit have a chance for Double Mutants! Meaning every breeding has a 25% chance of getting an extra mutant baby! How fun is that? he giggles before flying off to go investigate the ore further.

We've had a few questions about our newest Genus', so Querel has made us a lovely Knowledge Base Article to help answer some questions!

Our Slashbotee Rorro (#33668) is busy helping Querel and has asked for some help in the research! Every day until the event ends a new contest will be ran and judged by them! Todays contest: Artistic RBC Shenanigans so grab those pens and get drawing!

You also probably saw the Raffles pop up, those will be running until the end of this event, December 12th, 11:59pm. As you have probably noticed some of those raffles are for Teos, this is not a typical thing done for Slashbot Slots, so this is our trial run. For future events we may not permit this. I was also asked to announce that the amazing Lerna was designed by Tyger (#54028)!

Make sure to check out Hiiros News post about prizes for the Unus event as well as Yesterdays Bot post!

Rohvannyc (#21192) That is just bad luck, the coins have a 50% chance to break.
Tee Hi (#39846) They would be different, no two mutants are ever alike. Their like snowflakes. That ooze. And sometimes glow.

Rohvannyc (#21192) there is a 50% chance they will not work. I know that I bought two of the pendants from the shop during the black Friday sale and all 6 of the coins I got out of them failed. Some one sent me 3 anonymously and all of those ended up working... so yeah ... kinda of a risk but that's part of the fun with RBCs.

rat (#5182), It's under the "Play" tab at the top of your screen. It just says "Advent".

*lol* You're welcome, rat (#5182).

And thank YOU, Slashbot (#3); now that gives me food for thought. Hmmmmmm; to chance it or hold out for other possibilities?...

Slashbot (#3), I have another question: Would using a Mutagenic Ooze today mess with the chances of twins, positive or negative?

Is it a 25% chance of double babies on a successful mutant breeding (so if it breaks 50% of the time, results in a breedable hybrid or mutant 10% of the time, and the rest 40% is a successful mutant breeding - is it 25% of the 40%, meaning that it's only about 10% per coin) or is it 25% chance of double babies on any coin (So if the above 60% is for breaking or breedable, it's 25% chance of a double mutant baby, and 15% chance of single mutant baby per coin)

Also echoing what others asked, if a mutagenic ooze is used, and the baby is 100% of the time mutant with no break chance, is 25% of that still a chance for double or is it 100% chance of single baby if an ooze is used?
