Site Update
Good evening folks, we've been dusting off the shelves and prepping things for Black Friday, but I seem to have run across a few issues.
As everyone is very well aware, I only recently took over the position of Community Manager, and I have never actually been involved in Black Friday sales in the past, so I don't really know the majority of the items that go for sale.
Staff and I have been discussing different items that have shown up in the past and we thought it would be nice to get input from the userbase as well! So if you remember previous items go ahead and put them in the comments, please include which Shop they were in and if you remember the price!
That way we can use it as a spring board to properly plot out this years sale :3 Of course prices may differ from previous years, and shops may change around depending on certain aspects, but really anything is a good start.
Feel free to include items you want to see as well!

In the past there have been items like bottled starlight and vions seeds in the gp shop. The box with the upgrades was in the bp shop. Usually breeding coin packs are available. Some different breeding talismans show up in the gp shop.

I forget the % chance? I think it's 3% the first day 2% the second ect? TO get 2x item from the GP shop or USD shop
50% bonus GP the first day, and then is tapers down the next few days (not sure the %'s after that)
Buy one month get 1 free, on primumim upgrade times when bought with GP

Previous BP shop items were both scaled seed and dragon lotus the prices were 50 mill bp for the seed and 40 mill for the lotus. Glittering slabs were 9 mill bp,aywas enhancements were in there, these are with discount for premium members since ive rarely lapsed with mine. Id have to look but I know I bought one of every bf items last year.

I personally remember there being species in a bottle, alt. cubes, fu pendants, glittering skulls... possibly standard hybrid custom crystals as well? But pretty much if it's a shiny item that's not on permanent release (or only in the SP shop usually), it'll fit into a BF sale!
Last year there was stuff in the BP shop too, for... lots and lots of BP, I had no hope of affording any of it, but it was SO AWESOME so I hope that trend continues. Would be nice to have a couple of things in the PP shop too - I know I have a lot of PP saved up, so a PP sink item or two would be shiny. Oh, also there was the year Slash put a bajillion bumble dinnerplates into pumpkins and the released shiny items in the annoying item shop. I'm not sure if that was a BF release, but it's an idea.
Also it'd be cool to have something happen in the trash shop, too. Not necessarily super shiny things, but maybe a temporary rerelase of old trash shop items? It would be nice if nothing was super expensive, so even casual players can get things they usually couldn't - old event potions, maybe, or retired trash shop pets.

I don't think this has ever happened but it would be kinda cool to see custom makers like BCC and GCC in the usd shop potentially. My reasoning is that its a way for the site to make money off things people really want that the site doesn't have to pay for like breeding items. Since breeding items then have artist salaries attached (thinking about pmbc and plbc specifically) when they aren't used for a year or more the site has already spent those funds (thats my understanding of whats been said in the past) so custom makers might be nice because the site doesn't have to have weird finances if those are hoarded for extended periods of time. A 3 or 5 pack of GCC might be popular because those are not flooding user shops currently at a discount like BCC are. Plus most people do want GCC level customs these days and those are usually the most expensive next to nova crystals (as far as site pet designs go). Obviously there might be problems with this that I haven't thought of and I am not staff, but thought I would pitch in a newer idea to maybe help bring the site some income that doesn't require holding the funds.
