Support Email

Site Update

Lately we're getting a lot of emails in to support about matters that would be best communicated to a moderator, such as glitches and user issues. While the email is closely monitored, contacting staff on site is more likely to get a faster response and resolution, due to our current presence on site when you contact us.

For those not familiar with the support email, it is typically reserved for issues where a user cannot access their account to contact staff directly. Please be aware that contacting the email should be from the email you signed up to the website with, and shouldn't be bumped more than once a week as this clutters the email and means it's much less likely that we will see everything coming in.

Also - we seem to be getting a lot of emails about accounts not being accepted within 24 hours of applying, from both the registering person and their on-site friends. Please remember that October through December are exceptionally busy for staff, and while we try to process applications as soon as possible, it is highly unlikely that it will be in less than 48 hours of registration.

Voluspa @War! (#67552) Not great, but a little more emotionally/mentally stable, so trying to catch up on all the work that fell behind today, then probably take tomorrow to recoop (haven't had a day of actual rest in a week and a half)

I normally give you guys the you know what you all are busy and that... but 48+ hours to register? With the kinda obvious fact that the site does not have as many active users as it used to be you'd think that making sure registration happened quickly was a priority. Most people who sign up for a pet website if it's not instant registration / within a few hours they forget about the web site / move on / join other places. So the whole two days or more to sign up may be driving more people away that would have been a great addition to the site.

Like I said I normally don't complain about how you guys budget your time, especially where I know it's extra crazy, but for me... well I know when I signed up I actually forgot about the site because of the long registration... and came back over a year later when another friend invited me. I got almost instant registration then and then found out a few months later that yeah, I had another account that I signed up for over a year before hand that I forgot about because it wasn't activated right away. It had been registered to a different e-mail, but we were able to deactivate it so that I wouldn't get in trouble.

48 hours isn't actually that long, and it seems like it's only a temporary problem. This time of year is hard on people who are getting back into school, catching up with family, or have issues such as seasonal depression, so? Maybe cut 'em a little slack? At least Aywas has open registration and aren't allowing sighups just once a month like a certain other site >>

I just want to say, I had an issue where I couldn't access my account just recently and I mailed support and they were wonderful with helping me. :) A+ job support! <3
