Snoodles are coming!

Site Update

The Snoodle Box is going to open...

Monday, March 28th
12:00 PM Aywas time

Hope you're ready for some noodley fun! They're a little jumbled up in the box right now, so if you've been peeking, you might need to flip through the pages to find the ones you liked before :)

Gwennafran (#22320) Monday isn't a holiday for me - I'm in South Asia. Friday was a holiday but Monday wasn't. But I guess that it makes sense that Aywas follows an American calendar.

Gwennafran (#22320) Yeah, Easter Monday isn't a national holiday in the USA. Some people continue their Easter holiday into Monday. The more concerning part is that most springs breaks have already passed here in the USA which means most people will be working or in school. Making it noon on a Monday leaves out everyone who can't log in at that time and it seems unfair.

I dont think it is unfair. There is ALWAYS a group of people to whom the time is inconvenient. I think it's nice that other people get the chance every now and then with events too.

Gwennafran (#22320) In the US most places have the Friday before Easter as the holiday. I know here in Boston they don't have a break from school, but that's because they get a week in April for Patriot's Day (Boston Tea party, dumping tea in the harbor and all that stuff).

I'm actually looking forward to the afternoon release... my mom is going in the hospital Monday, so the opening of the box in the middle of the day will be a welcome distraction to take my mind off of her operation for a little. I'll have to browse through and see if there are any plush snoodles.

Can we normal people summit stuff and wait for opening to pick or no?

holy kris2 (#15280) I think the answer is yes... I just submitted a set and there didn't seem to be any glitching that I could tell :)

Hahaha! This is where I'm reminded just how much Danish unions has brought forth. In Denmark there's National Easter Holidays (with most stores closed) on Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday (people tend to go crazy shopping Saturday between the two double Holidays).
School Holiday is from Monday to Monday (both Mondays included), making it 10 days without school when including the regular weekends.

I'm pretty sure the shop opens at Aywas Midnight, BTW. That's usually the case with almost everything on site, and it coincides with how the Aywas clock works.

Wow, are poeple seriously moaning about this release time? You do realise that the Aywas staff can't please everyone right? No matter what time they choose, it will be inconvenient for certain timezones, that's just how it is!
Everyone gets a chance, and if I remember rightly the last few releases have been at midnight which is a VERY inconvenient time for other timezones. It's quite nice to have a change for once. If it really bothers you that much, arrange for another user to grab one for you.
