January is kicking off with a new Breeding Season, bringing you two new hybrids! These hybrids were designed by Mauri and named by her too, so be sure to thank her if you like 'em!

Ara is happy to see some new hybrids, and we hope you like them too. To fit the occasion, the Breeding Coins are stocking in the GP Shop for the next week.
This month's Jeweled bases were done by Kirara (#11849)! Anyone interested in Jeweled bases should contact me if you'd like to make a set. They're a lot of fun!
Kyu and Mauri are so excited to show you their new Breeding Database. It should be coming out within the next few days, so look forward to see what they've got planned to make your breeding life easier.

I love the new jewel bases! Need to have several of them! :D But...can someone help me with identifying which ones need which custom makers? I'm especially interested in 1, 3, 4, 7, 8...

Once again the new hybrids look more like cutesy baby hybrids (like the Baby Bottle or Pacifier lines) than the elegant lines of the older hybrids... *sigh*

Regarding copyright, you can quite literally turn any pet into a variety of different copyright issues if you try hard enough. It is why we have the copyright subforum and an entire team dedicated to those rulings. Should a user get a pet on site that is later found to be a copyright violation the user is then given a certain amount of time to work with the Copyright staff to make the pet acceptable (or the breeding artist does if it is a breeding), and then the new pet is overlayed for free. So noone will lose anything or be punished unless they refuse to cooperate. Also Eveglori runs the custom queue + the copyright team, so she doesn't accept copyright issues. So you do not need to fret. Personally, as a long time Bulbasaur and evolutions fan, I see nothing even remotely wrong with this base, and I love both of them completely. Their some of the best bases we have had on site in a long while
