Pride Event 2015

Site Update

Aywas is rainbow for the Pride Event!

The Pride Event is a month long celebration of marginalized orientations, gender identities, and intersex (known as MOGAI or LGBT). Because this is a month long event, you should expect to see updates each week on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and finally on the 30th!

Your premium item for this month is the Pride Candle, which will allow you to select one of many semi-custom Pride Teos. A semi-custom is halfway between a site pet and a custom, like the Skelly Quetzal obtained by buying an Aywas plush.

A reference guide for what each Teo represents is located here for you.

If you've ever wanted a Teo, now's the time to get one! They may not be super-duper unique in the end, but they're Teos and they won't be released outside this event!

Tomorrow, June 2nd, be sure to stop by the Advent Calendar and pick up a Pride Rose. This will allow you to upload one of the Pride Dragons, a special SCC made specifically for this event!

You may upload any design posted to the Reference Guide for Pride Dragons, or you may download the pet's PSD and design your own dragon.

Pride Roses will lose their "power" on July 1st, so be sure to get your dragon colored sometime during this month!

Xaoc Lovers! There's a Xaoc Blind Auction happening in the Events forum. If you feel like donating to your favorite LGBT charity and taking a shot at winning a Xaoc designed by Syncline, be sure to read the thread to find out how to participate.

Our ability to release content for you on the 7th, 14th, and 30th will be determined by how much you participate in the Pride Contests! Be sure to stop by them and contribute whatever you can. There are great prizes!

Pride Pets!
Pride HA Wearable Items!
Pride Main Contest!
Pride Writing Contest!
Pride Items!

If you would like to have your orientation or gender identity added to the Pride Teos or Pride Dragons, post some information and the flag for it up on their respective threads and we'll add them as we're able to.

Have a great Pride Month, and look forward to the next Pride Update on the 7th! Oh yeah, and be sure to thank this event's co-sponsor, Fannish, for all of her hard work in helping me make this event for all of you!

Lol, nice! Sounds like a super pretty dress too X3 I shocked my co-workers one day cause I decided for the heck of it to wear my contacts and put some make-up on before coming to work XD Actually mostly I needed to practice wearing my contacts and doing my eye make-up for a cosplay I was doing the following weekend XD

Thank you. Thank you so much for this event, to both the community and to staff. This is a wonderful idea, very nice to see so much representation and unity here...I'm so happy to see a site like this so welcoming and understanding. And the fact that these pets have definitions of what they represent - that's excellent! Too many people don't know and don't bother to learn about these things. I'm hoping this event will open people's eyes to these identities. c:
