Aromantics are generally considered part of the spectrum by a lot of people ... including this news post, if you read the bottom. Also if you actually read my comment I said specifically I AM NOT aro/non-asex - I'm a panromantic / homo-demisexual (that is, I only get sexual attraction to someone I'm emotionally involved with, but I only get sexual attraction towards people of my own gender, which is to say male gendered people).
I know what it's like to be ignored by the community for having a 'weird' romantic/sexuality "setup," so I wanted to give my opinion re: aro/non-asex, because if you're going to consider aro part of "ace" then it deserves representation too.
