Greater Life Seed ensures 30% edits between the offspring. Regular Life Seed has a small (I want to say 10%?) chance of giving edits between the offspring. -Nevara

Also, don't worry about not knowing, it was just added recently. There is no super secret item you have been missing out on or anything ^^. There was an update about it on the 24th (April). So it wasn't all that long ago. And there was another update about 12 hours after that one so if you don't check up on things on a lot it could have easily gotten missed. Or somethings things are missed anyways. It happens. There has been quite a handful of news being pumped out lately in general, too.. I've "discovered" old news as new news at least once or twice in the past month or so, for example... And I'm always lookin' at the front page... It's a habit leftover from being on sites that don't send notifs to users about new news. So good habit for here, I guess xD
